  • [Kagawa Konpira Onsen] Accommodations with shuttle service

I'm planning a trip to Konpira Onsen in Kagawa Prefecture with my family. We'll be traveling by train, so are there any recommended lodgings that offer pick-up services from the station?

Yumoto Kompira Onsen Hananoyu Koubaitei

556-1 Kotohira-Cho, Nakatado-Gun

  • This is a recommended accommodation with shuttle service for those traveling by train.

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located in the temple town of Kotohira Shrine. It is a 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, and if you make a reservation in advance (you can also make a reservation on the day), they will provide a free shuttle. In addition to the open-air cypress bath and indoor bath, there are 15 types of hot springs to enjoy, including the "Takiyu" and "Bubble Open-Air Bath." For meals, we ate at the auberge-style dining restaurant, where we ate dishes centered around seasonal ingredients from Shikoku, including the specialty "Ishiyaki."

  • It is about a 5-minute walk from the station, but pick-up is also available.

  • This is the largest hotel in Konpira Onsen. It is about a 5-minute walk from the station, but shuttle service is available. It was a large hotel with everything very clean. There were many different hot springs, which were fun, and the plum pattern on the tatami mats in the private room where we had dinner was cute. The food was also delicious.

  • 5-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, free shuttle service available

  • The hot springs are said to be effective for neuralgia, muscle pain, gynecological diseases, and fatigue recovery, and are known for not cooling down easily after a bath. There are three hot spring facilities, including a garden open-air bath and a standing bath where you can enjoy a Japanese atmosphere. The women's open-air bath has a rose flower floating in it, so you can enjoy a variety of baths.
