  • Naruko Hotel
  • An inn in Naruko Onsen where you can enjoy not only hot springs but also unique baths

I'm going on my first trip to a hot spring with my boyfriend. We'll be going to Naruko Onsen, but I'd like to know if there are any inns that have more unique hot springs or bathing methods.

Naruko Hotel

36 Yumoto, Naruko Onsen, Osaki-shi

  • A relaxing inn with the aroma of Sennen no Yu hot springs

  • The sulfur springs from three private hot springs change color from clear to milky white to warbler green depending on the outside air and humidity, allowing you to enjoy a different atmosphere every time you visit. It is said to be effective for beautifying the skin, gynecological diseases, neuralgia, etc., and can be enjoyed in two large baths and an open-air bath with different atmospheres. Men and women are switched in the morning and evening, and bathing is available 24 hours a day. There are also many plans available that allow you to spend a relaxing time in the relaxing guest rooms and enjoy the subtle changes of the seasons.

  • Enjoy seven different colored waters and a wide variety of open-air baths

  • If you're going to Naruko Onsen, you can't go past the long-established Naruko Hotel. The large public bath here is very spacious, and it's an interesting hot spring where the quality and color of the water changes depending on the temperature and humidity. There are various types of open-air baths, such as blue-paved stone and Japanese cypress tubs, and there is also a reclining Lying-down bath, so time flies by. However, this hotel does not have a sauna. Meals are kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in a kaiseki style or Buffet style. Perhaps Buffet is better for young people? When I went with married couple, we had the kaiseki style, but when I went with my sons, we had Buffet. Both were delicious. Good value for money. It depends on the room, but you can stay for less than 20,000 yen per person per night.

  • A magical hot spring that changes into seven colors

  • This inn is located in Naruko Onsen, where there is a hot spring that is said to be magical and changes into seven colors. This is due to the chemical changes that occur in natural hot springs, but the hot springs that change into seven colors are truly magical. The hot springs feel like beauty serum and revitalize your skin.
