  • Family trip to Zao Onsen! Recommended accommodations near the ski resort

I'm planning to go skiing and snowboarding with my family to Zao. I want to stay at Zao Onsen, so are there any recommended accommodations near the slopes that a family of four can stay at? My child is in elementary school.

  • This is a long-established inn in Zao Onsen. The slopes are right in front of you. The rooms have been renovated in a modern style, and of course, can accommodate up to four people per room. The open-air garden bath is the best.

  • Perfect hotel for skiing in Zao

  • This hotel has easy access to the ski resort. It is within walking distance of Sanroku Station and Chuo Station, and the slopes are just around the corner. In winter, there is a half-price plan for elementary school students, so it's great value for money. You can enjoy delicious dishes such as Yamagata beef sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）. The open-air bath from which you can enjoy the natural scenery is attractive, and the breakfast Buffet is very popular with its wide variety of menu items. This is the perfect hotel for a family ski trip.
