  • The open-air bath is the best. I think that "Baien, a Meien to Meisui no Yado" is the perfect place to stay for this trip, as you can enjoy a variety of open-air baths. We recommend the large open-air bath with Breathtaking view of Mt. Yufu, but you can also rent a family-sized open-air bath with an equally impressive view. Why not have Breathtaking view space all to yourself? If it's within your budget, there are also independent guest cottages rooms with open-air baths, so you can spend even more time relaxing with just the two of you.

  • I stayed at the Seki Ajiplan in Umezono. The food was delicious and the baths were amazing. The large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Yufu was very open and relaxing. The banquet course meal, which used seafood from Oita, Bungo beef, and Kanmuri chicken, looked beautiful and had a seasonal feel, and was very easy to eat and delicious. I was also impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff.
