  • [married couple trip] Recommended spacious hotels in Akita

married couple and I are traveling to Akita. In addition to the hotel, we would like to visit Japanese izakayas, so please let us know if you have any information about izakayas or recommended souvenirs. We would also be grateful if you could tell us about must-visit tourist spots. We would like to stay in a spacious hotel room.

  • It is located about a 5-minute walk from Akita Station. Although Dormy Inn is a business hotel, it features a large public bath with hot spring. The large public bath is on the top 11th floor, and there is also an open-air bath. The breakfast is a Japanese and Western Buffet, and it was very delicious, including local Akita cuisine. In Akita City, I recommend the free museums and markets. A little further independent guest cottages, the Akita International Dahlia Garden was also nice, although it depends on the season.

  • ホテルには天然温泉があって、秋田の郷土料理も食べれます。全国展開のチェーンホテルなのでリーズナブルでサービスも良かったです。秋田の観光名所というと、ホテルの近くには久保田城がある千秋公園や歩いて行ける「赤れんが郷土館」、竿灯を展示している「ねぶり流し館」があります。少し遠くだと車が前提ならば男鹿半島や田沢湖、角館がオススメです。居酒屋だとホテル近くの郷土料理の｢我楽｣が良かったです。土産は「きりたんぽ」を使ったお菓子や、稲庭うどんが好評でした。

  • 秋田に行ったときに宿泊しました。お部屋はそんなに広くはないですが、必要最低限の設備はあり、フロントの方も親切です。ドーミーインには「こまちの湯」という天然温泉があります。露天風呂もあってとても趣があります。朝食もバイキングで地元の食材が豊富でとても美味しいです。秋田は食べ物が美味しく、ホテル周辺の居酒屋さんも美味しいお店が多いです。お土産は稲庭うどんが喜ばれました。
