  • Kinugawa Onsen Hana no Yado Matsuya Ryokan
  • Kinugawa Onsen | Ryokan (Japanese inn) with stylish rooms with open-air baths for couples, all for a budget of under 30,000 yen!

I'm going to travel to Kinugawa Onsen in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. I'm looking for a stylish Ryokan (Japanese inn) that my girlfriend would like. My budget is up to 30,000 yen per person per night, and is there Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a room with a nice open-air bath?

Kinugawa Onsen Hana no Yado Matsuya Ryokan

19 Fujihara Kinugawaonsen

  • A stylish and relaxing inn

  • The inn has a calm and elegant atmosphere. The room with the open-air bath faces the garden and has a high-quality alcove. I was able to spend my time relaxing and enjoying the private hot springs many times while looking out at the garden. The meal was a kaiseki meal made with local ingredients, which I enjoyed with the local sake recommended by the innkeeper. You can go down to the Kinugawa River from the courtyard and take a leisurely stroll.

  • The open-air bath in the nature was great.

  • 露天風呂付き客室があり、そこの露天風呂からは川の流れる音と木々が広がっていてとても爽やかです。食べ切れないほどの料理には味共に大満足されると思います。おもてなしが行き届いていて心が癒されるホテルです。

  • A retro Ryokan (Japanese inn) near Kinugawa Koen Station

  • This is a retro Ryokan (Japanese inn) located a 3-minute walk from Kinugawa Koen Station. I was able to spend a relaxing time looking at the garden and taking a break with a cup of coffee in the lounge. In the stylish Japanese and Western room with an open-air bath, you can take a bath while looking at the nature of the Kinugawa River. There is also a rustic open-air bath, and I soaked in the hot spring while listening to the murmuring of the river. It was very open and comfortable. However, the lighting was weak at night and it was dark, and the footing was poor on the way from the large public bath to the open-air bath. I recommend taking a bath during daylight hours.

  • A traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a Taisho-era feel

  • This Ryokan (Japanese inn) has a romantic Taisho era atmosphere. The open-air bath, the most spacious in Kinugawa Onsen, is located overlooking the flowing Kinugawa River directly below, offering a spectacular view, and bathing while gazing at the starry sky is a special experience. The large public baths, which are separated by gender, have high ceilings and a spacious feel. There is also a small, modern Japanese-Japanese and Western room with an open-air observation bath. From your room, you can enjoy the natural scenery of the Kinugawa River while relaxing in the hot spring.

  • A quiet inn surrounded by the nature of Kinugawa

  • The inn has a retro feel overall and feels old, but it is well-cleaned. There are Japanese and Western room. You can enjoy the view of the natural beauty of the Kinugawa River from the bath inside the room, and relax in peace and quiet. The food was delicious and the service was also good.
