If you want to enjoy a traditional, relaxing atmosphere in onsen(hot spring), I recommend onsen(hot spring) Onsen Sanraku. Unlike large hotels, this place is small and cozy, and time flows at a leisurely pace inside the building. The staff are very attentive and will warmly welcome you even if you visit alone, so you can relax. The large public bath and open-air bath facing the Kinugawa River are also atmospheric and sure to soothe you.モモンガ's answer (Posted on:2025/10/ 7)

A Riverside Onsen in a Secluded Mountain Hideaway
- If you prefer intimate and cozy inns, why not consider "Honke Bankyu" in Yunishigawa Onsen? This inn is tucked away deep in the mountains in a place known as the "Hidden Village of the Heike Clan," offering a truly quiet and tranquil atmosphere.
The onsen baths are located right alongside a mountain stream, allowing you to soak leisurely to the sound of the babbling water. You can completely escape the noise of the city and feel truly refreshed.
Being in an environment where the only sounds are those of nature is a rare luxury, making it the perfect destination for a solo trip of quiet reflection.オコジョ's answer (Posted on:2025/10/ 7)

Enjoy the Onsen to Your Heart's Content, All to Yourself
- For solo travelers who want to enjoy an onsen without feeling self-conscious, I highly recommend "Kinugawa Onsen Isshinkan."
The inn features several private baths, each with its own unique atmosphere. Best of all, you can use them for free as many times as you want, as long as they're available.
It's a true luxury to have the waters of Kinugawa all to yourself, allowing you to stretch out and relax without any interruptions. Even if you find the bustling atmosphere of the large public baths a bit overwhelming, you are guaranteed to find true relaxation here.ぽこぽん's answer (Posted on:2025/10/ 3)

An inn where you can enjoy the Kinugawa River
- Ryokusui is about a 5-minute walk from Kinugawa Koen Station on the Tobu Kinugawa Line. It is an inn located along a mountain stream on the opposite bank of the Kinugawa River. It is a small, traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) with 18 guest rooms, where you can enjoy the hot springs of Kinugawa in a relaxed atmosphere. Please enjoy the hot springs at your leisure while gazing at the magnificent beauty of the Kinugawa River valley that spreads out before you.ほっこり法師's answer (Posted on:2020/3/26)

Retro hot spring inn
- We recommend this traditional inn, which has a reputation for being a relaxing place. You can enjoy 100% pure natural hot onsen(hot spring) that flows directly from the inn, and savor a rustic-style kaiseki meal made with carefully selected ingredients while relaxing in your room. This is the perfect inn for a relaxing stay by yourself.誠makoto's answer (Posted on:2019/4/11)

Relax with delicious yuba and the friendly landlady
- The rooms are purely Japanese style, reminiscent of my grandmother's house. The baths are available for private use in each room until 8 p.m. 1 person But you can take your time and relax in the bath. After 8pm, it becomes a communal bath. The food is also typical of Nikko, yuba! The freshly made yuba is really delicious and I thought it was good for the body. There are not many guest rooms, so I recommend it as a place to spend a quiet time.たんぼの中's answer (Posted on:2019/4/14)
