Kinugawa Onsen has good water quality, and the hotel has two types of baths, one made of wood and one made of stone, which have different atmospheres and we enjoyed both. There are also two types of private baths, an indoor bath and an open-air bath. We stayed in a standard Japanese-style room, which was spacious and had a wide veranda where you could relax and enjoy the view of the Kinugawa mountains.

At this hotel, we had a kaiseki kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）in a private room, with a hot pot made with local ingredients as the main dish. The hot spring was also relaxing, with a large wooden bath. There are also two private open-air baths with different atmospheres. The budget is around 30,000 yen for one night with two meals, so I think it is a good value trip.
