  • Takarazuka Onsen Hotel Wakamizu
  • A hot spring inn that can be reached within an hour by train from Osaka city

I'm planning to go to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka with my boyfriend. I want to stay at a hot spring inn, so I would like some recommendations for inns that are within an hour's train ride from Osaka city. Since it's been a while since I've been on a trip, I'd like to splurge a little and narrow down my options to a place with a bath that the two of us can share, such as a private open-air bath or a room with an open-air bath.

Takarazuka Onsen Hotel Wakamizu

9-25 Yumoto-cho, Takarazuka

  • A wonderful inn that is often used by people for anniversaries

  • We recommend Hotel Wakamizu, which is easy to get to in terms of its proximity to Osaka city. It is a popular hotel with many repeat customers, and is within walking distance of Takarazuka Station, so you can do some sightseeing on the way there. Many repeat customers use Hotel Wakamizu on anniversaries and celebrations, which is why it is so appealing. The welcome lounge offers free coffee and tea, making it a great way to take a break after arriving. The hot spring is a spectacular open-air bath overlooking the Takarazuka cityscape below. The large public bath is also quite spacious and has a sense of openness, making it a great environment during the coronavirus pandemic. The food is excellent, with the kaiseki course meal, and the seafood is of a higher quality and exquisite. For those who like Kobe beef, we recommend the kaiseki course meal, which is mainly meat. It goes without saying that the sweetness and tenderness of the wagyu beef is excellent, so you will be very satisfied.

  • This hot spring inn is located in Takarazuka City, about 30 minutes away from central Osaka. It offers suite rooms with open-air baths. In addition to the open-air baths in the rooms, the hotel's large public bath also has an open-air bath with a view. For meals, you can enjoy seasonal kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ).

  • This is a recommended hot spring inn that can be reached within an hour by train from Osaka city.

  • This recommended inn is located about a 5-minute walk from JR/Hankyu Takarazuka Station, a 25-minute train ride from Osaka city. It offers modern Japanese suites with private open-air baths. You can also enjoy the natural sodium chloride spring water outside your room in three different open-air baths, where you can feel the colors of the four seasons on your skin, and in the large open-air bath with a view, filled with the scent of cypress. There's also a private bath made entirely of cypress that you can enjoy just the two of you. And for dining, you can enjoy kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with luxurious ingredients from the mountains and the sea, including Kobe beef and abalone.

  • Hotels with easy access from Osaka by train

  • It is very convenient, as it is only a 40-minute walk from Takarazuka Station on the JR or Hankyu line. There is an open-air bath with a view, a large public bath, and a private bath (fees apply), so you can enjoy the hot spring atmosphere. The rooms are relaxing, and the building is tasteful. The food for breakfast and dinner is also delicious, so we recommend this hotel as it perfectly suits your needs.
