I enjoyed the hot springs and the food.
- Since it's February, I recommend Jozankei Onsen, which is also close to the ski resort. This is the hotel where I stayed. The large public baths are located in the basement of the main building and on the top floor of the new building, which are contrasting locations, and I prefer larger baths, so I mainly went to the main building. I also went to the Water Kingdom Lagoon (which has a heated pool), which is a specialty of this hotel. I liked that the dinner buffet had freshly made meat dishes and sushi. There is a free shuttle bus to Sapporo Station.

- If you have children, we recommend this inn with a pool. The very large pool is popular with couples and groups of three generations. There are two Buffet venues, so you can choose according to your budget and family size. There are many room types, including Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, and the Japanese-style room is probably the best choice as it is spacious enough for a family of four.

It's close to the center of Sapporo and convenient to the ski resorts.
- This is hot spring Jozankei Onsen and you can relax in the bath. The price is about 12,000 yen per night (it can be less than 10,000 yen if you're looking for something cheaper), the inn is clean, and it's located next to a mountain stream. The ski resort is about a 20-minute drive from Jozankei Onsen. For ski resorts, I recommend Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort, which is famous in Hokkaido. The slopes are wide and the gondola facilities are good. The snow quality is powder snow that is unique to Hokkaido. It can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers.
