Any hotel recommendations near Izumo Taisha Shrine for a solo female traveler?
I'm planning my first solo trip to Japan and will be visiting the Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine in Shimane Prefecture. I'm looking for a clean and comfortable hotel within Izumo City that's great for a solo female traveler. My budget is under 15,000 JPY per night. I would be grateful for any recommendations!

- Located next to JR Izumo Station and Ichibata Electric Railway, it is very convenient for sightseeing in the city, such as Izumo Taisha Shrine, Hinomisaki Lighthouse, Izumo Dome, Izumo Winery (free wine tasting & free souvenir tasting). The hotel offers a lake view while soaking in Matsue Shinjiko Onsen. - Although it is not in Izumo city, I would like to recommend this hotel. married couple and I stayed there last year, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It takes about 70 minutes to get to Izumo Taisha Shrine by Ichibata Railway from the station below the hotel, but the view of Lake Shinji is beautiful from both the room and the large public bath, so you will be satisfied.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/6/ 3)
