There may be more luxurious and expensive hotels and Ryokan (Japanese inn) depending on your budget, but if you are a woman traveling alone and are concerned about safety and security, I would recommend this relatively new and clean hotel with easy access to the JR station. Since it is in front of the station, you should be able to find dinner in the surrounding area. Since it is close to the station, you can easily get from the Izumo Electric Railway to Taisha-mae, and it is convenient to stay here before or after visiting the shrine.
