  • Fuji Lake Hotel
  • I want to go see Mt. Fuji during the New Year holidays! Please tell me about a hot spring inn with an open-air bath.

My mother and I are going on a trip to Japan to take a bath in a hot spring. We are looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji in winter in Japan. I would be grateful if you could tell me about a hot spring inn or hotel where we can see Mt. Fuji, has an open-air bath, and if possible, serves New Year's dishes (Japanese food such as osechi).

Fuji Lake Hotel

1,Funatsu,Fujikawaguchiko-machi,Minamitsuru-gun

  • Hotels with a view of Mt. Fuji recommended for New Year's trips

  • This is a recommended resort hotel on the shores of Lake Kawaguchi in Yamanashi Prefecture. It is located in a great location where you can see the first sunrise of the year over Mt. Fuji from your room window. You can enjoy delicious authentic kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal ingredients.

Fuji View Hotel

511 Katsuyama, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun,

  • Quiet and relaxing hotel

  • It's independent guest cottages from the tourist areas, so it's a little more relaxing than the Kawaguchi Lakeside area I visited. The garden is spacious, and this historic hotel is different. You can't enjoy the bath while looking at Mt. Fuji, but I was satisfied. There are also rooms with a view of Mt. Fuji.

Hotel Mt. Fuji

1360-83 Yamanaka, Yamanakako-mura, Minamitsuru-gun,Yamanashi Prefecture

  • A resort hotel with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanaka

  • How about Lake Yamanaka? There are not many inns with open-air baths around Mt. Fuji, probably because there were no old hot springs. However, Hotel Mount Fuji has an open-air bath with a great view, probably because it is located on high ground. If the weather is good, you can see the truly beautiful Mt. Fuji. Lake Yamanaka is nearby, and there is a shuttle bus to Lake Yamanaka.

Hotel Hagoromo

Shimizu-ku Miho 1282-1

  • View of Mt. Fuji from Miho no Matsubara

  • It's nice to see Mt. Fuji up close, but it's recommended to see it together with Miho no Matsubara, a component heritage site of Mt. Fuji 's World Heritage Site, to get a feel for Japanese culture. This inn has a vast Japanese garden adjacent to Hagoromo no Matsubara and Japanese architecture, allowing you to feel the Japanese atmosphere.

Rembrandt Premium FujiGotemba

  • You can see Mt. Fuji from your room.

  • The hotel is about 5 minutes by car from Gotemba I.C., or about 10 minutes by taxi from Gotemba Station. It is a very clean hotel, and of course it has an open-air bath.

Hotel Green Plaza Hakone

Sengokuhara 1244-2

  • Hakone hotel with a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji

  • It's conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Hakone ropeway. You can choose between a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room. The Japanese-Western style dinner and Buffet style breakfast are both delicious. Both men and women can enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath, and the view of Mt. Fuji from the women's open-air bath is Breathtaking view.

Ohito Hotel

Yoshida 1178

  • There is an open-air bath with a view of Mt. Fuji.

  • Above all, the view of Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath is Breathtaking view. The open-air bath is very spacious and if the weather is good, I think it is really comfortable. The accommodation fee is also relatively cheap. They also provide a shuttle service from the nearest station, Ohito Station, so it's a good idea to contact them.

Fugakugunjo

  • All rooms have beautiful views of Mt. Fuji.

  • If you want to stay at an inn with a view of Mt. Fuji, we recommend "Fugaku Gunjo" in Nishiizu. You can see a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji from the large open-air bath, and you can see Mt. Fuji directly from all the rooms.

Kyukamura Fuji

634 Saori

  • If you want to see the mighty Mt. Fuji, this is the only place to stay!

  • I have stayed at many inns with a view of Mt. Fuji, but none have left as much of an impression as this one. At Kyukamura Fuji Hotel, located on the western shore of Lake Tanuki, you can see the giant Mt. Fuji and its reflection in the lake from every room and open-air bath! The sight of Mt. Fuji is impressive. The accommodation fee is reasonable, and you can enjoy your favorite dishes in a Buffet style for dinner and breakfast. The location is great, so if you wake up early in the morning, you can immediately go for a walk on the promenade around the lake. You can go around the whole lake in about an hour. The refreshing morning atmosphere and Mt. Fuji match perfectly, making for a pleasant walk. It is also popular with families with children. There is a natural history museum near the inn, where you can learn about the nature of Mt. Fuji. There is also a campsite nearby, where you can experience the natural environment firsthand.
