  • Daiwa Roynet Hotel Akita
  • I'd like to go see the traditional Akita "Namahage" with family. Are there any hot hot spring inns that you would recommend for family trip?

I would like to show my children the "Namahage" of Akita Prefecture, which is registered as an intangible cultural heritage of UNESCO. Please tell me where to stay at a hot spring inn where a family of four can stay after seeing Namahage.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Akita

2-2-41 Oomachi

  • The hotel is the base of operations.

  • I'd like my daughter to experience the Namahage that I experienced in Akita. If so, how about a hotel in front of the station? It's "Daiwa Roynet Hotel Akita." Although it doesn't have a hot spring, it is a very satisfying hotel. It's conveniently located for going anywhere.

  • The food is delicious and the events are fun.

  • At a nearby facility, there is a Namahage drum event at night. It is close to the hotel, but there is a shuttle bus, so it is convenient. There is also a Namahage experience center, so it is a good idea to stay here and visit it. My daughter, who is in the third grade of elementary school, cried, though.

Satomi

  • Conveniently located and easily accessible from Akita Station.

  • If you are looking for a cozy hot spring inn in Akita that can accommodate a family of four, why not consider Akita Onsen Satomi as one of your options? The facilities are relatively well-equipped and the prices are reasonable, so I think it will meet your needs. I was also glad that the hot spring had an open-air bath.
