I'm planning a solo trip to Kyushu, Japan, and I'm looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Fukuoka. I haven't decided on a place yet, but I'd like to stay in the Hakata or Tenjin area for under ¥10,000 per night. Any recommendations for affordable business hotels?

  • The large public bath was the deciding factor for my solo trip to Kyushu, as I wanted to relax after long travel days. Being able to fully stretch out and warm up in the bath was wonderful. The room itself is simple but very clean and functional, with everything I needed. Although it’s a short walk from Hakata Station, it’s a quiet budget hotel perfect for travelers seeking a good night's rest.​​

  • I stayed here on a business trip, and was surprised to find that the free Buffet buffet was more substantial than I expected. This is a great benefit for those staying on a budget of less than 10,000 yen per night, as it saves on breakfast costs. Self-service coffee is available in the lobby, and I felt the service was attentive. Taking the shuttle bus from Hakata Station makes it even more convenient, so it's also a great base for sightseeing in the Tenjin area.
