I'm planning a solo trip to Kyushu, Japan, and I'm looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Fukuoka. I haven't decided on a place yet, but I'd like to stay in the Hakata or Tenjin area for under ¥10,000 per night. Any recommendations for affordable business hotels?

  • The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Hakata Station, but the route is straightforward, making access easy for my solo trip to Kyushu. It made accessing the Shinkansen and local lines incredibly smooth. The breakfast buffet, featuring local Fukuoka cuisine like mentaiko (spicy cod roe), was a major highlight that gave me energy for the day. For a budget hotel under ¥10,000, the quality is unbeatable.​​

  • Although it is independent guest cottages from Hakata Station, the large public bath and breakfast are satisfactory.

  • It's a little independent guest cottages from Hakata Station, but there is a large public bath and a good Buffet buffet. The cheapest room rate without breakfast is about 3000 yen. There are also plans that cost as little as 4000 yen. The rooms are business hotels, and the cheapest plans are windowsless, but if you're just going to sleep, it's not a problem.
