  • Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel
  • I would like to go to Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture for the "Hina Meguri" festival. Can you recommend any accommodations?

In February, I will be going to Kurashiki, a city with beautiful white-walled streets, to see the "Hina Meguri" festival. There seem to be several event venues, so please let me know of any recommended lodgings that are convenient for getting around. Please let me know of lodgings that are as cheap as possible and offer a place to stay without meals.

Kurashiki Royal Art Hotel

3-21-19 Achi

  • A classy hotel

  • The rooms are spacious and relaxing. It is close to the Bikan Historical Quarter and has a retro atmosphere that leaves you feeling very satisfied. The breakfast is also delicious. The bath and washroom in particular are spacious and give off a luxurious feeling. The regular price may be high, but if you apply early you may be able to get a small discount. We walked around the Bikan Historical Quarter and visited the Ohara Museum of Art.

  • Located in Kurashiki's scenic area, you can stroll around Achi Shrine and the town of Kurashiki.

  • Because it is located in the scenic area, I saw the townscape with its Namako walls and Imabashi Bridge before breakfast. I left my luggage at the hotel and went for a walk to the Ohara Museum of Art and the boats on the Kurashiki River. I returned to the hotel and had lunch. It was very delicious. The hotel staff were also very nice. I would like to go to this hotel again.

  • Hotel with big bed near Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter

  • Although it is a little independent guest cottages from Kurashiki Station, it is close to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, and the hotel is attractive because you can sleep comfortably in a large bed. The marble bathroom is what makes it different from other business hotels. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, where you can choose from Japanese and Western cuisine prepared by top chefs. It would be fun to wear a rental kimono and go on a Hinamatsuri tour.

Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel

1-1-44 Chuo

  • You can stay here safely and with reasonable prices.

  • You can stay here with peace of mind in a relaxed atmosphere at an affordable price. The local cuisine is delicious, and it is located in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, so it is very convenient for sightseeing. It is also conveniently located with Kurashiki Station and a shopping street nearby, making it an attractive and recommended place.

  • A hotel located in the heart of Kurashiki's most popular tourist destinations

  • Kurashiki Kokusai Hotel is located in the famous Bikan Historical Quarter, allowing you to see the Bikan Historical Quarter and Ohara Museum of Art up close. It is also in a great location for your desired Hinamatsuri. There are plenty of places to eat in the city of Kurashiki, including casual izakayas where you can enjoy seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. The accommodation fee starts from around 7,500 yen for a twin room, which I think is relatively reasonable.

Kurashiki Station Hotel

2-8-1 Achi, Kurashiki

  • A hotel near Kurashiki Station, convenient for sightseeing in Kurashiki

  • It's very close to Kurashiki Station, and the breakfast service was good. The room had internet access and washlets(Japanese electric bidet toilet)had a washlet, so it was very comfortable. It's in front of the station, and the area is a busy shopping district, so it's safe. The bad points are that the affiliated parking lot is a little far away, and the building is old, but overall, it's a good hotel with reasonable prices.

  • A hotel close to the station, convenient for event venues

  • I stayed here during the long weekend to visit the Ohara Museum of Art. There are several venues for the Kurashiki Hinamatsuri, and I heard from the hotel that you need to travel by train to get there. If you're just looking to stay and don't want too much, there's no better hotel than one that's close to the station. There are hotels that are closer to the station, but of the hotels I've stayed at, I recommend this one.

Kurashiki Ivy Square

7-2,Honmachi

  • A relaxing, historic red brick hotel

  • A soothing hotel with a sense of history, covered in quiet red bricks and ivy. When I visited this hotel on a solo trip, I felt the time passing slowly and was soothed by the history of the building. In the courtyard, you can enjoy tea while reading a paperback book.

  • A traditional facility where you can experience pottery and painting

  • "Kurashiki Ivy Square" is a traditional hotel. It has a very calm atmosphere. The building is a little old, but that's what makes it so charming, and it matches the town of Kurashiki perfectly. You can also experience pottery and painting, which are unique to Okayama. The price is not cheap, but I would like to stay at this wonderful hotel again.

APA Hotel Kurashiki-Ekimae

JR-Kurashiki Ekimae Nishi In Building 7-2,Achi, Kurashiki-city

  • A hotel located in front of Kurashiki Station with easy access

  • It's in a building in front of Kurashiki Station. The rooms on the upper floors are not noisy and there is no noise from cars or other things. The rooms are larger than those in business hotels and are relaxing. I think the food is also quite delicious. It's great that you can go there without getting wet even if it rains in front of the station.
