- Since we stayed for multiple nights, having a standard microwave in the room was incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of money on meals because we could heat up food from the supermarket. The nearby JR and subway lines made it easy to reach both Kinkaku-ji and the Eastern Kyoto sightseeing areas.
