There is also a costume rental shop called Obiyui about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, so you can get dressed in a kimono and walk about 5 minutes from there to visit the shrine. Although it is a costume rental shop, they also do simple hair styling, so it is a good idea to ask about it when making a reservation.

There is also an access bus from Ujiyamada Station, so it is easy to get to. It is convenient because it is close to not only Ise Jingu Shrine, but also major tourist sites such as Toba Aquarium. Even the single rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are beauty salons around Ise Jingu Shrine, so it would be a good idea to have your kimono dressed there.

• This hotel is conveniently located for visiting Ise Jingu Shrine, so I recommend it. I've stayed here before, and had my kimono put on at a kimono rental shop called "Tsubakihime," located just a minute's walk from the hotel. It's also conveniently located just a three-minute walk from Iseshi Station. Ise Jingu Geku is also within walking distance in just six minutes, so it's a recommended hotel.
