[Okayama│Kurashiki City] Accommodations with large public baths
I am planning a trip to Kurashiki to visit a friend who lives in Okayama. I will be staying there as a couple of women. Can you recommend a nice hotel with a large public bath where I can relax in the Kurashiki area?

There is no hot spring, but there is a large public bath. This is a historic hotel located in the center of Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, where the brick-built Kurashiki Spinning Company factory was converted into a hotel. Mitsui Outlet Park and Ito-Yokado's Ario Shopping Center are nearby, making it a great place for sightseeing and shopping.Jack.K's answer (Posted on:2014/9/14)

There is an open-air bath with a view of the Great Seto Bridge.
- You can relax in a Japanese-style room, and there is a large open-air bath and an indoor bath from which you can see the beautiful scenery of Setouchi. There is also a special bath that contains honey and pearl extracts. Access is convenient as there is a shuttle bus to JR Kojima Station if you make a reservation. The dinner buffet varies depending on the season, but it is lively with live performances. If you value elegance, we recommend dining in your room.はなママ's answer (Posted on:2014/9/16)

A traditional Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kurashiki
- Located in the famous Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, this is the perfect location for sightseeing in Kurashiki. It is also conveniently located a 10-minute walk from JR Kurashiki Station. You can fully enjoy the pure Japanese style. There are two baths that can be rented for private use. You can relax in a Japanese-style bath made of wood, such as a cypress bath. The food was seasonal kaiseki cuisine and Japanese set meals, with a wide variety of dishes, healthy and delicious.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2014/9/12)

A long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Kurashiki with the atmosphere of a former traditional restaurant
- This is a long-established Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a typical Kurashiki atmosphere. Although the structure is old, it is clean and very tasteful, so I recommend it. It used to be a traditional Japanese restaurant, so the food is delicious, with kaiseki cuisine made with plenty of seafood. You can relax and enjoy the view of the garden. The private bath is relaxing, with the scent of the wooden bathtub and the water feels great. I think it's a good place to stay for sightseeing in Kurashiki.さばにゃんこ's answer (Posted on:2014/9/12)
