1877年創業の100年以上歴史のある老舗旅館です。老舗ではありますが清潔感のある旅館で気持ちよく過ごせると思います。草津温泉で最古の源泉とされる白旗の湯をひいており「湯守」というお湯の番人の職人が滞在していてまろやかな湯をつくりあげています。和モダンなお部屋で広々としておりゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができます。湯畑ビュ—の部屋もありますよ。
