Although it is a little expensive, I recommend Hakone Ginyu. If you get off at Miyanoshita Station, it is close and takes less than 5 minutes on foot. All rooms have open-air baths, and you can enjoy Breathtaking view of the valley, as if you are blending into nature. The garden lounge also has a nice atmosphere and is recommended.

When you get off at Hakone-Yumoto Station, walk along the souvenir street eating a soft serve coffee and turn to the side and you will see Tenseien. The souvenir street is what makes you feel like you're in Hakone. There are about three types of rooms with open-air bath, and when I stayed there, I had a Japanese-style room. It was very clean and relaxing. The food buffet has a good balance of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, so even if you have food preferences, it's fine. I think it's the best place to celebrate an anniversary.

別邸今宵は源泉かけ流しですし、開放的な露天風呂と大浴場があります。温泉が思う存分楽しめますし、心身ともにリラックスできますよ。旬の食材を活かした創作和食料理が味わえますし、落ち着いた部屋でゆったり過ごせます。英語対応もしていますので、外国の方でも安心です。きっと、御満足いただけると思いますよ。なお、大人がリラックスできるように中学生未満の子どもの宿泊はできないです。

Since you're going by train, I think this inn is perfect. It's about a 6-minute walk from Odawara Station or Hakone-Yumoto Station. You can also use the shuttle bus from the station to the inn for 100 yen per person. It's a Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) in a quiet environment surrounded by greenery, with a lovely exterior. Each room has a different feel, so please choose the one you like. All the rooms are lovely and modern Japanese. I stayed in the "Soun" room. The open-air bath with a view of the garden was very pleasant. The lighting in the room created a nice atmosphere, and it was a very nice room.

強羅駅から徒歩２分という絶好の立地にある宿です。ゲストハウスなのでいろんな国の人が泊まるため、英語しか話せなくても安心です。ゲストハウスと言っても風呂はもちろん温泉。源泉かけ流しの贅沢な湯を楽しむことができます。個室の部屋もあり、落ち着いた広い和室なので旅館のようにゆったりと寛ぐことができます。夜は併設のバーでお酒片手に美味しい料理をいただきました。きれいなキッチンも用意されているので朝食も美味しくできますよ。

You can spend a relaxing time together in the open-air bath of natural hot springs while looking out over Hakone Yumoto from your modern room. The atmosphere inside the hotel is sophisticated and urban, even though it is a hot spring inn. The food is wonderful and creative Japanese cuisine, so it is good to eat and good to look at. Breakfast is also very enjoyable with many different types of side dishes. Highly recommended. The hotel has undergone a major renovation, so you can stay in a beautiful guest room. Moreover, you can stay in a guest room with hot spring semi open-air bath from One person 20,000 yen, and all newly built guest rooms are non-smoking. I have stayed at Hotel Okada. We went with our children so we chose a cheaper plan, but the main building had a room with open-air bath and the interior had a very luxurious atmosphere. The food was also pretty good. What I recommend about this hotel is that it has a day hot spring, and there are 13 open-air bath baths in the large communal bath, so you can enjoy a variety of different hot spring. I think it's a good choice for people who want to relax at the hotel.

This is a long-established luxury hotel in Hakone Yumoto. It's about a 5-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station. If you take a look around the souvenir shops, you'll arrive at Ryokan (Japanese inn) while you're still having fun. It's not for group tourists, so you can enjoy the hot springs and the food in peace. There are also rooms with open-air baths with free-flowing water, so you can relax and unwind. The hotel also has a foot bath with 100% natural hot spring and an open-air bath with a view, so you can fully enjoy the hot springs. The service is also excellent, so I don't think you'll go wrong choosing Ryokan (Japanese inn).
