温泉のお湯が肌にも優しく、大きな大浴場は落ち着ける空間になっていて、温泉を楽しむならこちらのホテルが良いかと思います。和室なら足腰の悪い方でも段差も少なく宿泊しやすいかと思いますし、全体的に空間が広いので車椅子利用でも安心かと思います。

八丁の湯旅館がおすすめです。自然の中でハイキングを楽しんだり、周辺には滝や吊り橋があったりと日本の四季を味わいながら過ごすのにおすすめなホテルです。露天風呂はもちろん温泉が引いてあるのですが、木々に囲まれた中で流れる滝を眺めながら入ることができます。３つの混浴風呂があってそれぞれ楽しんでもらいたいのですが、女性専用の入浴時間も設定されています。滝のすぐ真横の崖に作られたお風呂から見る滝は大迫力です！

This is a long-established luxury Ryokan (Japanese inn) that was founded 160 years ago, and has a very nice atmosphere with a purely Japanese design both inside and out. You are sure to be able to relax and unwind. You can enjoy the hot springs in a cypress bathtub while looking out at the garden. It feels great. The meals are kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, which are a feast for the eyes and a feast for the taste, making for a truly luxurious experience.

There is also a wide variety of baths, with large public baths separated by gender, each with an indoor bath, a jacuzzi bath, an open-air bath, a sauna, and a cold bath, which are enough for a relaxing soto-yu (public bathhouses) are also nearby, so it would be nice to go for a walk there in a colorful yukata. After the bath, cold water, coffee, etc. are provided, and there is also a foot massage machine. For meals, you will be greeted with traditional artisan-crafted kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）.

最寄り駅である鬼怒川公園駅から徒歩3分でアクセスでき、車がなくても行くことができるのでおすすめです。鬼怒川が一望できる部屋や露天風呂付きの部屋など様々な種類の部屋があります。和の雰囲気を存分に味わうことができますよ。温泉は、大浴場、露天風呂、貸切家族風呂の3種類。大浴場は大きな窓がありそこから鬼怒川の自然を見ながらゆっくり湯に浸かることができます。露天風呂は自然に囲まれた感じで秘湯感もりもりです。食事は地元の旬のものがいただける和食会席。事前に連絡しておけばアレルギー対策も可能な限り対応してくれます。

高齢の方が温泉に入るなら、体に優しい泉質がいいと思います。それが北見市の温根湯のそばにある旅館「塩別つるつる温泉」です。pH値が高く、アルカリ性で体に優しい湯です。食事も和食中心でこれまた体に優しいメニューです。ご検討ください。
