We stayed here for two nights as a family (married couple and two small children) over New Year's last year. It was located in the center of the city, close to the subway station, and very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto. The famous Nishiki Market was within walking distance even for children. There was a large public bath on the rooftop, which we used on the second night, although it was charged. The restaurant in the building was also very delicious.

ラグジュアリーなホテル
北海道に行くならここです。本当に素敵なホテルでした。スタッフの対応も親切、丁寧、迅速でさすがだなと思いました。景色も素敵で、部屋もきれいでした。なんと言っても、露天風呂がよかったです。コスト的には高いですが、それに見合うホテルです。

It's surprisingly quiet and convenient.
It's about a 2-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Station, but the surrounding area is mostly residential, so it's quiet. It's also in an office district, so there are many convenience stores, and you can walk to a department store. When I lived nearby, I often went to a saikyozuke shop right next door.

静かでのんびり過ごせるホテル
観光客の多いエリアからは離れているので、観光めぐりした河口湖畔の雰囲気と違って落ち着きます。庭園も広く、歴史のあるホテルは違いますね。富士山を眺めながらお風呂を楽しむことはできませんが、満足しました。富士山眺望できるお部屋もあります。

静かできれいなホテルです
It's a little independent guest cottages from Shijo Kawaramachi, but it's clean and the rooms are quite spacious. It's nice to go to Shijo Kawaramachi for shopping, and take a stroll along the river. It's quiet and recommended because it's independent guest cottages from the city center.
