Itoen Hotel Oze Oigami Sanrakuso is a hot spring inn where you can enjoy the famous, historic hot springs of Oigami Onsen in a spacious large communal bath and open-air bath. I recommend the Seven Seas Hotel. It is a wonderful hotel with a view of the ocean from every room, right in front of Ito Orange Beach. The hot spring is a natural hot spring and can be used as it is. The hotel opened in 2018 and is very clean.

I stayed here with a friend before. It's relatively close to Tokyo, but the whole town has the atmosphere of hot spring resort, and it feels like a very old-fashioned Japan. The view of the nearby open-air bath that seems to connect to the sea is amazing! The food is French kaiseki, so I think it's easy for foreigner to eat.

Itoen Hotel is a hot spring hotel with good access, just a 5-minute walk from Ito Orange Beach, a representative swimming beach in Ito Onsen. We recommend the Itoen Hotel Annex. This natural hot spring inn boasts soft spring water and an abundant supply of hot water. It is about a 10-minute walk from JR Ito Station. The hotel has a large, spacious and open-air bath, a sauna, a table tennis table, a karaoke room, a coin laundry, an internet corner, a game corner, and a shop, and also offers rental services for mahjong, go, and shogi. There are three types of rooms available: a Japanese-style room, two Japanese-style rooms, and a Western-style room, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs, whether you are traveling alone, with your family, or with friends. Ito Orange Beach, a famous swimming beach, is also within walking distance.

From Hakone-Yumoto Station, transfer to the mountain railway and there is a shuttle bus from Gora. The Japanese food is delicious (local vegetables are used), and it is recommended for enjoying Hakone Onsen. From Gora, it is a very good place to enjoy Hakone, such as climbing Hakone and Lake Ashi.

If you are visiting Tamatsukuri Onsen, why not try Minami? It is a Japanese-style hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn) that combines a Japanese and modern atmosphere. Inside the building is a magnificent Japanese garden, the beauty of which will cleanse your soul. The hot spring has a large bath with a garden and an open-air bath, where you can refresh yourself in the skin-beautifying waters unique to Tamatsukuri Onsen. Dinner is kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with fresh seasonal ingredients from Shimane. If it is within your budget, you can stay in a spacious Japanese and Western room with an indoor bath that draws hot spring water.

It is indeed a traditional Japanese Ryokan (Japanese inn). In winter, it is famous for monkfish, and in summer, it serves delicious rock oysters, abalone, and clams. The salt-grilled clams, which are so big they could fit in the palm of a child's hand, are particularly delicious, with a rich, seashore aroma. Although it is not a hot spring, you can also enjoy a private bath at your leisure.

I stayed at this inn in Iwate Prefecture in early July. There is an old building and a new building, and the old building where I stayed did not have air conditioning. I was worried about the heat, but it was cool at night. I think this is because the inn is located in the mountains and the building is along the river. All the other guests on the day I stayed there seemed to be staying in the new building, so it might be better to check whether there is air conditioning or not and stay in the new building. The large and small baths are alternated between men and women. The meal plan I had did not include meat dishes, so if you are interested, it would be better to choose the Iwate beef Shabu Shabu（Japanese hotpot）or steak plan.

It's also convenient to get there by train. reception desk and other areas are hotel-like, but the rooms are Japanese-style and you can enjoy the atmosphere of a Japanese hot spring, including open-air bath. There is an English website, and the reviews say that there are staff who can speak English. When I stayed there, I saw several foreigner guests. If you avoid the Obon period, I think you can stay for less than 20,000 yen.

It's a cheap and recommended inn where you can fully enjoy Oigami Onsen. A standard room costs about 15,000 yen per night, and you can stay with a meal plan that includes Joshu beef sukiyaki. There is an open-air bath and the magnificent view of the Gunma mountains is overwhelming. There is also good access to the famous morning market that opens at 6am.

I recommend Zao Onsen in Yamagata Prefecture. The hotel here offers a half-buffet dinner plan with unlimited drinks, and the price is less than 20,000 yen. Elementary school students are half-price and infants are free. From the large public bath and open-air bath surrounded by greenery, you can enjoy the abundant hot water and the great outdoors of Zao. It is also perfect for summer vacation, and you can spend the whole day without air conditioning. This hotel is perfect for a summer vacation with the family.

Zao Plaza Hotel is about an 8-minute walk from Zao Onsen Bus Terminal Station. The bath is a free-flowing bath with a private hot spring source, and you can see a wonderful garden from the open-air bath. However, if the hot water gets into your eyes, it will hurt for a while, so be careful. For meals, you can also enjoy ball konnyaku and beef teppanyaki.

The Daimonji Yaki bonfire can be difficult to see from the rooms, but guests can get a clear view from the rooftop terrace. The standard single rooms are simple yet clean. There is a large communal bath here, as well as an open-air rock bath, so you can enjoy a relaxing time in the hot springs. Although it is a public lodging, the garden is magnificent and it is a very nice lodging. The surrounding area is close to the Kyoto Imperial Palace, making it a great location for sightseeing.

My family and I stayed at the Naeba Prince Hotel in Niigata Prefecture during the Obon holiday in August. Naeba is known for its skiing, but there are also events that can be enjoyed in the summer, which the kids loved. There is also an optional tour to look for rhinoceros beetles. The hotel keeps rhinoceros beetles, which we enjoyed looking at. The room was a family-friendly hammock room with four beds. At the time, it was about 15,000 yen per person, including two meals. The room was clean, and the kids were thrilled with the hammocks. Outside, we could ride on tire tubes and run down the mountain, and there was a large trampoline, so the kids said they wanted to go back again. It was a hotel that children would enjoy.

The couple's homely and warm service is very comfortable, and I think it's a nostalgic Ryokan (Japanese inn).

Why not try out the rhinoceros beetle hunting at Hotel Epinard Nasu? It requires a reservation, but it is a very popular summer vacation event for children and is held every year. There is a hunting area on the hotel grounds, which are full of nature. The hotel has a variety of facilities, including hot springs, a pool, and an experience workshop.
