I recommend the Seven Seas Hotel. It is a wonderful hotel with a view of the ocean from every room, right in front of Ito Orange Beach. The hot spring is a natural hot spring and can be used as it is. The hotel opened in 2018 and is very clean.

箱根湯本駅から登山鉄道に乗り換えて強羅駅までくれば、ホテルまでの送迎バスがあります。食事は地元の食材を使った和食でおいしく、温泉だけでなく食事もホテルで楽しみたい人におすすめです。強羅からなら箱根登山や芦ノ湖など、箱根を観光するならどこへでも行きやすいですよ。

魚料理がおいしい旅館

割烹旅館を名乗るだけことはあります。冬場はアンコウで有名、夏場は岩牡蠣、あわび、はまぐりなどがしんせんでおいしいです。特に子供の手のひらに乗り切るかっていうほど大きなハマグリの塩焼きはこくがって磯の香りがおいしい逸品です。温泉ではないですが貸切のお風呂もゆっくり楽しめます。

エアコンがない部屋でした

7月上旬に岩手県のこちらの宿に泊まりました。旧館と新館があり、私が宿泊した旧館はエアコンがありませんでした。暑さを心配したのですが、夜は涼しいくらいでした。宿が山間部にあること・建物が川沿いにあるというのが理由だと思います。私が宿泊した日の他の客は皆さん新館に泊まってたようなので、エアコンの有無を確認して新館の方がいいかもしれません。風呂は大浴場と小浴場が男女入れ替え制です。私が食べたプランの食事では肉料理がなかったので、ご希望の方は岩手牛のしゃぶしゃぶやステーキのプランにした方がいいでしょう。

強羅駅の目の前にある温泉宿

強羅駅の目の前にあるので電車で行くにも便利なホテルです。むしろ、車で行くと渋滞しやすいので電車で行ったほうが良いです！フロントなどは洋風のホテルのつくりですが、お部屋は和室で、露天風呂など日本の温泉旅館の雰囲気が楽しめます。英語のHPもありますし、レビューのコメントでも英語ができるスタッフがいるようです。私が泊まったときも、外国人のお客さんを見かけました。お盆の時期を避ければひとり25,000円以下で泊まれると思います。

My family and I stayed at the Naeba Prince Hotel in Niigata Prefecture during the Obon holiday in August. Naeba is known for its skiing, but there are also events that can be enjoyed in the summer, which the kids loved. There is also an optional tour to look for rhinoceros beetles. The hotel keeps rhinoceros beetles, which we enjoyed looking at. The room was a family-friendly hammock room with four beds. At the time, it was about 15,000 yen per person, including two meals. The room was clean, and the kids were thrilled with the hammocks. Outside, we could ride on tire tubes and run down the mountain, and there was a large trampoline, so the kids said they wanted to go back again. It was a hotel that children would enjoy.

若旦那が温泉好きな外国人の方なので、英語が通じると思います。公式ＨＰも英語で対応しています。客室も和室（おそらく全室和室だったと思います）で、客室や露天風呂から日本庭園のような中庭が見ることが出来ますので、存分に日本を感じることが出来るのではないでしょうか。温泉は24時間かけ流しで、食事は、山菜や甘露煮など信州の食材がふんだんに使われています。ご夫妻の家庭的であたたかいサービスがとても心地よい、懐かしさを感じる旅館だと思います。

There aren't many accommodations around Oarai. There are some if you go a little further away, such as Mito or Hitachinaka City, but if you're concerned about accessibility, I personally recommend staying here. This hotel is a nationwide chain, so you can stay there with peace of mind, unlike privately run hotels, which can be extremely hit or miss.
