Founded in 1913 in Kusatsu Onsen, this inn has a Japanese atmosphere. The main building is purely Japanese in style, with high ceilings and wooden sashes. Therefore, we think it will be well received by foreigners who want to experience Japanese architecture. You can also enjoy the hot springs in the natural surroundings of the indoor and outdoor baths, "Kohaku no Yu," and the indoor and outdoor baths, "Ruri no Yu." As for food, you can eat kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with local seasonal ingredients such as Joshu beef and Gunma Prefecture's Mochi Pork at the restaurant "Okuniwa," which faces the mountain slope. The koshihikari rice from Agatsuma, Gunma Prefecture, is particularly delicious.

敷地内でお花（石楠花）や紅葉など、季節の景色を楽しめます。館内には露天風呂があり、２種類の源泉を楽しめます。お食事は定番の和食です。それに加え、ステーキや鶏のから揚げ等も注文可能なので、和食に馴染みがない外国のお客様も安心できますよ。

湯畑から歩いて３分ほどの好立地です。２つの源泉が楽しめる大浴場や露天風呂が人気な宿です。手入れされた中庭は純和風で、ほっと落ち着く気分にさせてくれます。大浴場や露天風呂も庭園風の造りになっているので、草津の湯と日本の庭園美を同時に満喫することが出来ますよ。

This hot spring inn has two types of rooms: Western-style and Japanese-style. There are also spacious rooms that combine both Western-style and Japanese-style rooms, and all rooms are spacious and relaxing. Basic English support is available, so it is also recommended for foreign guests. The bath is a free-flowing natural hot spring, and you can enjoy Kusatsu's sulfur spring. At the restaurant, you can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine, including fresh sashimi.

大阪屋旅館は湯畑から徒歩1～2分ほどの所にあります。創業当時の江戸時代から伝わる「せがい出し梁り造り」の和風旅館です。温泉は湯畑源泉を引き、内湯、露天の他に野趣あふれる洞窟風呂もあります。お料理は京風の懐石料理が頂けます。館内はとても風情があり、和の雰囲気が溢れています。

「奈良屋」は創業明治10年の老舗宿で、湯畑のすぐそばにあります。和の情緒が味わえる宿で、客室のタイプは書院造の和室か、和モダンの和洋室から選べます。館内には風情のある内湯と露天風呂があり、草津最古の白旗源泉がかけ流しで楽しめます。貸切風呂（露天と内風呂）もあるので、一人での入浴も可能です。夕食は地元の旬の食材を使った会席料理です。部屋食か個室の食事処でいただけるので、周りの目を気にせず食事ができますよ。
