Affordable and homely hotel
-
This is a historic hotel in Jozankei Onsen. There is a free shuttle bus from Sapporo Station, so it is easy to access. They offer a Buffet plan for both breakfast and dinner, which is very reasonable at around 10,000 yen per person. The hospitality was very homely, and there were facilities such as karaoke and table tennis, so the whole family could enjoy themselves.

Enjoy Buffet of luxurious Hokkaido ingredients
-
How about Hotel Shikanoyu? Meals are served Buffet style, with fresh seasonal ingredients from Hokkaido. The seafood is especially delicious. The open-air bath overlooking the Toyohira River is spacious and relaxing. The hot spring is a sodium chloride spring, which is effective in relieving fatigue. To get there, take the Jotetsu Bus bound for Jozankei from Sapporo Station, get off at Yunomachi, and it's a 3-minute walk away.

Good value for money.
-
Of course, it's difficult to get a room at an official Universal hotel during Golden Week (early-May holiday season in Japan) (the long holiday in May), and it's extremely expensive. In that case, this business hotel offers good value for money. If you want a cheap hotel with convenient transportation, I recommend it.

A Jozankei inn with Buffet
-
This is a resort hotel in Jozankei Onsen where you can enjoy Buffet style meals. The meals are recommended as they have a wide variety of freshly made menu items such as pasta, risotto, and Chinese food. There is also a dessert corner that is great for after-meals. There is also an open-air bath where you can enjoy the view of nature, which is recommended. Spa services are also recommended. The rooms are spacious and recommended for large families, allowing you to relax and unwind.

Located in the center of Osaka, it's very convenient.

If you are going to Universal Studios, you will probably also be sightseeing in Osaka. I think Comfort Hotel Osaka Shinsaibashi is a good value hotel to stay at, as prices won't rise too much during Golden Week. The rooms are small, but not too noisy, and the main tourist spots in Minami are within walking distance. Have a nice trip!

A good value hotel a short independent guest cottages from Universal Studios
-
You can stay here for a very reasonable price, from around 10,000 yen for a room only, and it is only a single transfer away from Universal Station. The rooms are located on the upper floors, so you can enjoy Breathtaking view of Osaka. There is also a shuttle bus to Universal, which runs on some days, so I recommend it.

Affordable guesthouse suitable for families
-
I recommend this guesthouse, located a 15-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan. It is clean, has a play area for children, and is well-equipped with kitchen appliances such as a refrigerator and microwave. The friendly young staff, who have a lot of overseas experience, create a great atmosphere in the guesthouse.

business

It is located near Noda Station on the Osaka Loop Line, which can be reached without transfers to Universal City Station. The room is not very large because it is a business hotel, but it is enough for sleeping. Reservations are difficult even on weekends, so you need to act early.

Family friendly hotel, children friendly, caring
-
It seems to have been renovated, and there were some improvements to be made to the facilities, but the service has improved considerably. They are attentive to your needs during meals, and if a child is having difficulty eating, they will cut the food into small pieces and sell it to you. There are toys for children in the bath, and juice, ice cream, and sweets are available in the lounge. Coffee and tea are also provided for adults, and beer is also available in the evenings. The hotel was already well-known for its delicious food, but the renovation has further improved the quality. There are several baths with different temperatures, so it is recommended for families with children who do not like hot baths. The sauna has both mist and dry types, so adults can enjoy it as well. I would recommend this hotel as it is a place that the whole family can enjoy.

Close to Universal!
-
This hotel is located in Universal City, but it is quite reasonable. To enjoy Universal to the fullest, we recommend a hotel close to your destination. You can enjoy it from morning to night. You should consider not only the price per night, but also transportation costs and travel time.

It's a hidden gem in Osaka.
-
Nowadays, hotel prices are high in Osaka and it is difficult to make reservations. "Crighton Esaka" is one of my regular hotels when I go on business trips to Kansai. It is a normal business hotel and I feel that the price is cheaper than hotels of the same quality in the city. It is located in an area with Tokyu Hands and an office district, so it is not inconvenient for restaurants or convenience stores. It is about 10 minutes from Umeda (Osaka Station) on the Midosuji subway line, and I think that access to USJ is not bad. As a second choice, I would like to recommend the Green Ridge Hotel near Itami Airport, which is cheap and clean, but it is a little inconvenient to access and there are fewer places to eat. How about enjoying Osaka gourmet food in Esaka? If you use the Midosuji line, it is recommended because it is very easily accessible to Namba, Shin-Osaka, and Itami Airport. I hope you have a fun holiday...

Officially cheaper
-
Hello. This is the cheapest of the official hotels. However, all hotels are expensive during the Golden Week period. There are some hotels where you can stay at the regular price if you make a reservation about a year in advance, but it's hard to find one near USJ.

Located in the heart of Umeda, Osaka. Directly connected to Hankyu Umeda Station and Midosuji Subway Line Umeda Station, and just a 3-minute walk from JR Osaka Station, this is a great location. The hotel is adjacent to the limousine bus terminal for Kansai International Airport and Osaka (Itami) Airport, making it easy to access the airports.
