  • Night cruises where you can see the great torii gate at night are popular

  • This hotel is convenient for sightseeing at Itsukushima, and offers a great view of the Seto Inland Sea and Miyajima on the opposite shore from the ocean-facing rooms. You can access Miyajima directly from the private pier right in front of the hotel. The World Heritage night cruise, which lets you get up close to the O-torii gate at night, is a must-see.

  • This is a tourist Ryokan (Japanese inn) located on the mainland side of Hiroshima.

  • This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs on the mainland side of Hiroshima Prefecture. You can see Itsukushima Shrine directly in front of you across the strait. The restored large torii gate also adds to its divine presence. Upon entering the entrance, you will be surprised by the three-story atrium lobby. The comfortable sea breeze blows through the private passageway leading to the private open-air bath, making you excited about the hot springs you are about to enter.

  • This is a natural hot spring inn with a direct view of Miyajima.

  • This hotel is located on the opposite shore of Miyajima and has a great ocean view, so we recommend it. There is a natural hot spring open-air bath with Breathtaking view view, so you can enjoy the view from there. There are rooms that can be enjoyed by three generations, so it should suit your needs. We recommend it as a base for sightseeing at Miyajima, a World Heritage Site, and Itsukushima Shrine.

  • This hotel is on the Honshu side.

  • If you are staying with three generations of your family, it would be best to choose a hotel with relatively large rooms. The hotel I recommend is the Aki Grand Hotel. They have large rooms, although they are Japanese-style rooms. Please consider staying there.

  • Take a look at the islands of the Seto Inland Sea

  • The first recommended accommodation is the Aki Grand Hotel, located opposite Itsukushima Shrine. It is Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs. Aside from the shrine, the recommended tourist spot on Itsukushima is the view of the islands of Setouchi from the top of the mountain. The view of Setouchi is also written about in the Hyakunin Isshu.

  • Orthodox hot spring hotel

  • It's hard to decide whether to stay on the island or on the mainland, but the accommodation fees on the island are slightly higher, so if you have a large group, we recommend staying on the mainland. This hotel overlooks Itsukushima Shrine across the strait. There is also a hot spring, so you can relax at this hotel.

  • Reasonably priced inn with hot springs

  • Once you get to Itsukushima, your options for accommodation will be limited and you won't be able to explore much, so I recommend a hotel on the main island of Hiroshima. This hotel is located directly across the sea from Itsukushima Shrine, and has a great view. There is also a private open-air bath where you can relax while enjoying Breathtaking view. Please try staying there.

  • The hotel is on the Honshu side of Hiroshima.

  • This hotel has a view of Itsukushima Shrine from the Honshu side. When making a reservation, be sure to pay attention to the direction of the window and ask for a room on the south side. Meals are mainly seafood dishes made with plenty of fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea. You can also eat Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki.

  • The perfect accommodation for sightseeing in Miyajima

  • How about combining sightseeing with a soak in a hot spring in Miyajima, Aki? The hotel we recommend is on the Honshu side, overlooking Itsukushima Shrine on the opposite shore. It is an old Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs, and in addition to the large communal baths, there are also open-air baths and private baths where you can soak while looking out at the sea.
