  • Enjoy Miyajima's Scenery and World Heritage Sites from Your Hotel

  • When you arrive on Miyajima, the classic first stop is Itsukushima Shrine and the Five-Story Pagoda. The vermilion-lacquered shrine and pagoda look especially beautiful against the crisp autumn air. A special feature of the hotel "Itsukushima Iroha" is that some rooms offer a direct view of this famous pagoda and the charming Miyajima townscape. Gazing at these island landmarks from your room and then strolling to the actual sites truly deepens the travel experience. Even after returning from a day of sightseeing, you can relax by the window and soak in the memories of your journey as you enjoy the view.

  • Savor the Flavors: A Street Food Tour on Miyajima's Omotesando

  • A can't-miss experience for any autumn trip to Miyajima is the Omotesando Shopping Street, lined with stalls selling famous local delicacies. You'll find an array of delicious treats like grilled oysters and momiji manju (maple-leaf-shaped cakes), making it a fun place to simply stroll and snack. A key appeal of "Itsukushima Iroha" is its perfect location, right in the heart of this bustling shopping street. By day, you can dive into the lively street food scene, and by night, you can indulge in creative Japanese cuisine at the hotel's restaurant, featuring seasonal ingredients from the Seto Inland Sea. It's also a wonderful feeling to know that you can instantly retreat from the lively street to the peace and comfort of your room.

  • A hideaway hotel for adults with wonderful hospitality

  • Located in an area a little ways from the bustling Omotesando, "Itsukushima Iroha" has a limited number of rooms, each with its own unique Japanese modern style, and the charm of the hotel is the relaxing private atmosphere. In addition to the attentive hospitality, the luxurious meals, including Hiroshima oysters, are also appealing.

  • The view from the open-air bath is amazing

  • I was wondering whether to stay on the Honshu side or on Miyajima side. I would recommend planning your trip so that you can stay on Miyajima so that you can enjoy the night cruise of Itsukushima Shrine. If you stay on Miyajima, I recommend this inn, where you can enjoy the light-up from the open-air bath before and after the cruise. The hotel is not too big, so you can expect a homely hospitality.
