The most memorable thing was how kind the people at Ryokan (Japanese inn) were. Of course, the hot springs were very satisfying, as you would expect from Awara Onsen. I was also surprised at how luxurious the food was. They used a lot of seafood, such as crab, and I think it was cooked in a way that even people who don't like seafood could easily eat it.

This inn is located in Awara Onsen and is equipped with one of the largest garden open-air baths in the Hokuriku region. There is a free shuttle bus from JR Awara Onsen Station. You can also enjoy the abundant, high-quality natural hot spring water in one of the largest open-air hot spring baths in the Hokuriku region, a flower-viewing bath with a flower bed right in front of the open-air bath, a ceramic bath made in a large Shigaraki ware kiln, an octagonal waist bath about 90 cm deep, a sauna, and an indoor bath with a jet bath. As for meals, you can eat to your heart's content in a luxurious Buffet style, including fugu dishes (such as fugu sashimi), crab dishes (whole crab, crab sashimi, etc.), and 50 other dishes.
