  • Hotel Kusakabe Armeria
  • What are some recommended accommodations for families with children in Gero Onsen?

I'm thinking of enjoying Gero Onsen and Hida Takayama for a two-day, one-night trip. I have small children, so could you recommend a hot spring inn for families with children? I'd be grateful if it was around 20,000 yen per person with two meals included.

Hotel Kusakabe Armeria

1811 Koden, Gero-shi

  • A Buffet-style meal that will satisfy both adults and children, and comfortable Japanese-style rooms

  • If you're traveling with children and looking for a hot onsen(hot spring) inn in Gero onsen(hot spring), Gifu Prefecture, we recommend this inn. The Japanese-style rooms are safe for families with small children, and the price includes a Buffet style meal for around 20,000 yen per person. Dinner also includes all-you-can-drink alcohol and soft drinks, satisfying both adults and children. You can enjoy the waters of Gero onsen(hot spring) in the large communal bath and open-air bath. The view from the open-air bath, surrounded by nature, is particularly Breathtaking view.

  • Buffet with all-you-can-drink

  • "Hotel Kusakabe Almeria" is a lodging that offers a shuttle service from JR Gero Station. For meals, you can choose between Buffet or kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ), but if you drink alcohol, Buffet with its all-you-can-drink plan may be a better deal. For hot springs, you can enjoy Gero Onsen to the fullest in the rooms with open-air baths, the shared large communal bath, and the open-air bath.

Gero Onsen Ogawaya

570, Yunoshima, Gero-shi

  • This is a recommended accommodation for families with children in Gero Onsen.

  • If you're looking for a recommended inn for families with children in Gero Onsen, how about this one? It offers family plans to suit any budget. The hot onsen(hot spring) onsen(hot spring) is a simple alkaline onsen(hot spring) that is effective for muscle pain, rheumatism, neuralgia, and frozen shoulder. You can enjoy it in the large public bath, "Yakushi no Yu," or the open-air bath, "Kawajika no Yu," which offers a sense of openness. And as for food, you can enjoy grilled hoba (magnolia leaf) and Hida beef dishes made with plenty of local seasonal ingredients. I highly recommend it.

  • They offer a variety of special offers for families with children.

  • If you are visiting Gero Onsen, I recommend "Ogawaya". There are hot springs and open-air baths with wide tatami mats to prevent slipping. The meals are delicious and made with plenty of local ingredients such as Hida beef. For families with children, there are also services such as in-room dining, private dining, table tennis, and karaoke.

  • There is a buffet that children will also enjoy.

  • We recommend the clean and spacious Japanese-style room with 12.5 tatami mats. It can accommodate up to five people, so four people including children can relax comfortably. The large public bath is also open, so you can take a break while looking at the mountain scenery from the panoramic window. For dinner, we enjoyed Buffet, which included international meat dishes such as "kebabs," "herb sausages," and "chicken skin."

Gero Onsen Bosenkan

190-1 Yunoshima, Gero

  • Reasonably priced! If you're going to a hot spring resort, we recommend this inn.

  • No matter which accommodation plan you choose, you will be satisfied and the price is very reasonable. The plan that includes two meals is the most recommended, with a Japanese set menu for breakfast and Hida beef for dinner! If your children don't like meat, the standard seasonal kaiseki meal is also good.

Kisoya

971-1 Mori, Gero

  • There is a plan where you can have dinner in your room.

  • Kisoya is Ryokan (Japanese inn) located along the Hida River, a 12-minute walk from Gero Station. There is also a shuttle service from the station. The rooms are bright and calming Japanese-style rooms, and you can stay in a room with an open-air bath at a reasonable price. The large public bath in the building has a tatami-floored washing area that is non-slip, so it is safe for small children. There is also an open-air bath with a great view. The building has table tennis, a game corner, a rental book corner for manga and other items, a karaoke room, and more, so the whole family can enjoy it. There is also a rental service for colorful yukata, which is great for women, so you can take instagrammable worthy photos. Meals are served in your room (this may vary depending on the plan), so you can enjoy a meal with your family without having to worry about others around you.

Gero Onsen Yunoshimakan

645 Yunoshima Gero

  • The hotel has a wide range of facilities, making it a great place for families with children to enjoy themselves.

  • If you're traveling to onsen(hot spring) with children, we recommend Yunoshimakan. Founded in 1931, this long-established Japanese-style Ryokan (Japanese inn) is nestled in a 160-acre garden. The inn's extensive facilities include table tennis, a games corner, and karaoke booths, so small children will have plenty to enjoy outside of onsen(hot spring). The hot onsen(hot spring) offer spectacular views from the large observation bath and two open-air baths, offering panoramic views of the Hida mountains and the Gero onsen(hot spring) town below, and you can enjoy the natural 100% natural hot spring. Meals are served in your room, and you can enjoy luxurious kaiseki cuisine using local ingredients such as Hida beef. This charming and atmospheric inn is sure to please.

Gero Onsen Mutsumikan

1167-1 Koden

  • A relaxing Ryokan (Japanese inn) perfect for families

  • This is a place you can easily bring children with you. It's a relatively small Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the food is good, and the hot spring water is silky smooth and amazing. I'm also a fan of Gero Onsen, and I remember the hot spring water here being particularly good. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, which had a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. It's very close to the station, so it's easy to get there by train, and I'm glad that the location is also ideal for strolling around the hot spring town. You can easily stay for around 20,000 yen.

Gero Onsen Suimeikan

1268 Koden

  • A place where families can relax and unwind

  • This is a relaxing hot spring inn consisting of four buildings along the Hida River! We recommend Gero Onsen Suimeikan. Rinsenkaku, Hisenkaku, and Sansuikaku each have their own large baths, so no matter which building you stay in, you can enjoy all the hot springs, making this a very attractive hot spring inn. In particular, the open-air observation bath overlooking the town from the 9th floor of Hisenkaku is particularly comfortable, and the alkaline, highly moisturizing simple hot spring is gentle on the skin, making it a great choice for a relaxing and relaxing stay with the family.
