"Hotel FutabaReviews about "

  • A onsen(hot spring) inn where you can enjoy Visiting hot springs in three different open-air baths

  • Hotel Futaba boasts three different open-air baths. You can enjoy the sound of the river or the starry sky from the open-air bath, making you feel as if you have the nature of Echigo Yuzawa all to yourself. Meals are appealing, including kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )made with seasonal Niigata ingredients, and breakfast where you can enjoy local rice straight from the source, which is fitting for a rice-growing region. You can experience plenty of hospitality even with a plan that falls within the 15,000 yen budget, and if your budget allows, we recommend upgrade your dinner to enjoy wagyu beef and luxurious seafood.

  • Ryokan (Japanese inn) you can enjoy hot spring tours

  • The inn has nine different types of baths, including a herbal bath and a cave bath, so you can enjoy bathing in each of them. There is also an open-air observation Ryokan (Japanese inn) on the seventh floor, from which you can see Mt. Tanigawa and other mountains in the distance. The meals are special kaiseki meals made with fresh local mountain produce. This is one of the leading Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Yuzawa Onsen.

  • An open-air bath with a view of the Tanigawa mountain range

  • This inn is proud of its open-air baths located on the hilltop of Echigo Yuzawa Onsen. We enjoyed nine unique types of baths, including a simple hot spring, an open-air bath overlooking the Tanigawa mountain range, a cave bath, and a herbal bath. For dinner, we had a Japanese-style kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )from Echigo, and for breakfast, we had a wide variety of Japanese and Western Buffet.

  • There are rooms with open-air baths.

  • I stayed here before for a company ski-related event. There was a room with an open-air bath. (According to the inn's website, the open-air bath attached to the room is not a hot spring.) The open-air bath in the large communal bath had a great view, as the inn is located on a hill.
