  • [Aomori] Accommodation where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine and open-air baths

I would like to know about a place in Aomori where I can enjoy Japanese food and an open-air bath. I want to relax, so I would like a place that has a laid-back and quiet atmosphere.

Nanbu Kaisenkaku

  • Open-air baths and guest rooms with beautiful ocean views

  • We enjoyed a gorgeous and beautiful original menu for dinner. The dishes were made with plenty of seasonal Aomori ingredients, and included delicious Japanese cuisine such as tuna, sweet shrimp, and sea urchin sashimi. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, which was spacious and had a calming color scheme. There was also a sunken kotatsu table, so we were able to relax. The ocean view from the room was also amazing. The open-air bath was small, but it was located on a viewing platform, so the view was great.

Hotel Grandmer Sankaisou

  • Fresh and delicious Japanese food and an open-air bath overlooking the Sea of Japan

  • This newly renovated hotel in Ajigasawa Onsen is beautiful and boasts a great view. For dinner, you can enjoy a Japanese banquet with live abalone teppanyaki, and since it's all-inclusive, you can also enjoy all-you-can-drink, making it a great deal. You can relax in the spacious large communal bath and open-air bath. This is a highly recommended hotel where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine centered around seafood and an open-air bath.

Lamp no Yado Aoni Onsen

1-7 Aza-Aonisawa Takinoue, Oaza Okiura, Kuroishi-shi

  • A secluded inn where you'll want to do nothing but relax

  • This is a lodging house located in the middle of nature that feels like a truly unexplored region. There is no electricity, so we spent the evenings by lamplight. There is also no television, so the only sounds are people talking and the background music of nature. It was a wonderful environment where I could free my mind. The view from Mixed-Gender Hot Springs outdoor bath is Breathtaking view. You can see outside from the indoor bath, so it felt like an open-air bath. The food was served in the large hall, and included Japanese meals made with river fish caught nearby, wild plants, and local vegetables. It was simple country food, but the ingredients were good so it was extremely delicious. I was soothed by the warm, nostalgic flavors. It was a wonderful inn that I felt it would be a shame to stay just one night.

KAMENOI HOTEL AOMORI MAKADO

  • Relax at Mamon Onsen

  • This is a hotel in Mamakado Onsen, Aomori Prefecture. In winter, you can enjoy bath to view the snow, with snow spreading all over the open-air bath facing the mountainside. The food is Japanese, with a menu including seafood such as scallops and abalone, and it was very filling. The room had a modern interior and was spacious, so I was able to stay comfortably.
