Kinosaki Onsen Student Trip. Best budget "Su-domari" (room only) inn?
Headed to Kinosaki Onsen w/ college friends. We're on a tight budget ("broke students" lol). Looking for a "Su-domari" (room only) plan to save money. Just want to enjoy the Onsen. Any high-value recs?

- They were very kind, picking me up when I arrived at the station and even taking me to and from soto-yu (public bathhouses). The building is old, but clean, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The inn also issues free bathing tickets that can be used to visit soto-yu (public bathhouses) of Kinosaki Onsen, so I was able to fully enjoy the hot springs of Kinosaki. There is also an indoor bath in the building, which can be used as a private bath.nanochip's answer (Posted on:2020/8/17)

A lodging where you can simply enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content

I recommend the "Suigo" inn, which specializes in rooms without meals. I'm not sure how many people you are traveling with, but the room can accommodate up to four people, and you can stay for less than 10,000 yen per person per night. In addition to the baths in the building, the inn also issues a free bathing ticket (Yumepa) that can be used to "hop around soto-yu (public bathhouses)," which is the best part of Kinosaki Onsen, so you can fully enjoy the hot springs of Kinosaki.ほっこり法師's answer (Posted on:2019/7/31)

This is Ryokan (Japanese inn) that only offers overnight stays.
- This Ryokan (Japanese inn) is only for overnight stays, so you can stay very reasonably. It's a little bit of a walk to the station and the hot spring town, but it's not too far to walk, so you won't have any trouble finding dinner or Visiting hot springs. There is also an indoor bath, so you can enjoy the hot springs inside the facility as well as Visiting hot springs.ミドリ's answer (Posted on:2019/7/19)

The perfect place for Visiting hot springs
- How about Yamatoya, located in the center of the hot spring town, which is the perfect place to visit soto-yu (public bathhouses)? Even if you stay without meals, you will get a free pass to soto-yu (public bathhouses), and there are izakayas and convenience stores nearby, so you will never have trouble finding something to eat. This is a great place for a budget trip as a student.わらわら's answer (Posted on:2022/8/25)

I recommend Kinosaki Onsen Yamatoya. They have a plan for a reasonable stay of around 10,000 yen, so it should suit your needs. After touring the outdoor Visiting hot springs, relax in the indoor cypress bath.アラート's answer (Posted on:2020/12/27)

There are plans with no meals included.
- Tsukimotoya Ryokan (Japanese inn) is an inn located an 8-minute walk from JR Kinosaki Onsen Station. Due to regulations, the onsen baths are indoors only, but there are soto-yu (public bathhouses) scattered around, so we recommend using those as well. The area is in the hot spring town of Kinosaki Onsen, so there are plenty of restaurants and cafes scattered around, so you can rest assured.モッティ's answer (Posted on:2022/8/ 4)

It's cheap enough even with meals included, but it's even better value if you stay without meals
- We recommend Oedo Onsen Monogatari Kinosaki Onsen. This inn offers reasonable prices even for a one-night stay with two-meal Buffet. The two large baths offer different atmospheres, the open-air bath gives off a sense of warmth and calm from the wood, and the Genbu-no-yu (sauna) is perfect for a relaxing night out with friends.エイム's answer (Posted on:2021/3/ 2)
