I want to stay at Ginzan Onsen, the setting for the TV drama "Oshin"
Chugoku friend saw the old TV drama "Oshin" and wants to stay at Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ginzan Onsen, where the drama was set. Can you recommend some famous Ryokan (Japanese inn) that are recommended for beginners, or popular Ryokan (Japanese inn) that are only known to a few people? I would prefer Ryokan (Japanese inn) that offers meals such as Japanese food.

- Many of the rooms have impressive large windows from which you can see the view of the Ginzan mountains. In winter, snow falls on the silver mine, making it very impressive. The kaiseki cuisine, which combines seasonal and traditional Yamagata ingredients, is very delicious. The breakfast is also packed with seasonal ingredients from Ginzan, so you're sure to be satisfied. There is a shuttle bus to the nearest Oishida Station, so it is easy to access.みこっち's answer (Posted on:2024/12/ 3)

The open-air bath where you can enjoy the snowy scenery is the best
- Many people may think of Ginzan Onsen as a place for snowy scenery, so I would like to introduce this inn that is recommended for winter. The open-air bath here is wonderful in any season, but I think it is especially Breathtaking view in winter. The scenery is surrounded by mountains, and in the cold season, snow piles up beautifully. The lights, which look like bamboo crafts, are placed around the bath, which gives it a very tasteful feel. If you don't like the cold, you can also view the mountains from the indoor bath. The food is a sophisticated kaiseki meal, which allows you to fully enjoy seasonal ingredients from Yamagata. If you don't have any allergies, I would also recommend trying the inn's proud handmade soba noodles.静's answer (Posted on:2024/12/ 2)

This is a hidden inn located on a hill in Ginzan Onsen. It is surrounded by mountains, so the view from the open-air bath is amazing! The food is delicious original cuisine that is unique to Yamagata, and you can also enjoy delicious soba noodles that are freshly ground, made, and boiled. You can see nature from the window, so you can feel the four seasons of Japan. I think it's Ryokan (Japanese inn) that you'll want to return to again and again in different seasons. The staff are also very polite.タカヒロ's answer (Posted on:2024/12/ 2)

Cuisine that allows you to fully enjoy the cuisine of Yamagata Prefecture, a treasure trove of ingredients.
-
Yamagata Prefecture is a region where you can enjoy the flavors, and there is a wide variety of delicacies such as soba noodles as well as fruits. (I like meat soba noodles) This inn is proud of its cuisine that focuses on such Yamagata ingredients. First of all, you should definitely try the authentic handmade soba noodles. Many regions focus on soba noodles, but Yamagata Prefecture is characterized by its noodles with a satisfying texture. Depending on the access method, there are always soba restaurants in train stations and airports in Japan, so it is recommended to try and compare them. Of course, wagyu beef is also a must. The breakfast is a Japanese set meal, so if you want to enjoy Japanese food to the fullest, this is the place to stay.帽子屋's answer (Posted on:2024/12/ 1)
