[Within 2 hours from Tokyo] Ryokan (Japanese inn) with hot springs where you can dine in your room or in a private room
I want to travel with my girlfriend in March, but I haven't decided where I want to go or where I want to stay. My budget for lodging is about 30,000 yen, and I'd like it to be within 2 hours of Tokyo. I can't drive, so I'll have to take the train or bus. Please tell me about Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a hot spring where I can enjoy a leisurely kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )in my room or private room.

- It's about 2 hours from Tokyo, and they offer a kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )plan. Kinugawa Onsen has good water quality, and the hotel has two types of baths, one made of wood and one made of stone, which have different atmospheres and we enjoyed both. There are also two types of private baths, an indoor bath and an open-air bath. We stayed in a standard Japanese-style room, which was spacious and had a wide veranda where you could relax and enjoy the view of the Kinugawa mountains.るき's answer (Posted on:2016/10/19)

Hakone hotel with a wide variety of baths
- I went to Hakone on my honeymoon in December and it was great. If you have a budget of 30,000 yen per person, I think you can stay in a room with an open-air bath at this hotel. Just having an open-air bath in the room makes you feel rich. In the large public bath, you can enjoy various baths from five hot springs. There was also a foot bath. There was also a private bath by reservation. For meals, there is a plan where you can enjoy Japanese kaiseki cuisine in a private kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ). I had the buffet, but it was clearly different from the buffets around there, with crab, steak, and many other things. It was high-class. Even the buffet was delicious, so kaiseki(a traditional Japanese multiple course meal )must be delicious. There are plenty of amenities, such as lotions and gauze handkerchiefs. You can also rent cute yukatas. It is close to Shinjuku, about 75 minutes away. Hakone-Yumoto Station is the nearest station, and there are many shuttle buses to the hotel.ユーザー's answer (Posted on:2015/2/ 3)

Relax in a hot spring and enjoy in-room dining in Hakone
- It's convenient and close, about 85 minutes by train from Shinjuku in Tokyo to Hakone Yumoto. Breakfast and dinner are served in your room. The private open-air bath is free, so it's recommended for couples. It's about a five-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Station, so even those without a car can easily access it.たこべー's answer (Posted on:2018/1/ 5)

Popular accommodation in Chichibu, Saitama
- The room comes with an open-air hot spring where you can see the babbling river and hear the birds singing, so you can enjoy the hot springs with your partner anytime. It is about a 15-minute walk from the station, but they will also provide transportation to and from the inn. There is also a strawberry farm between the station and the inn, so we recommend picking strawberries there. The beautifully colored kaiseki cuisine is plentiful and can be enjoyed by young people as well.はなママ's answer (Posted on:2015/2/ 7)
