  • Please let me know which hot spring resorts you recommend for snow viewing open-air baths.

I have never experienced a snow-viewing open-air bath. I would like to experience the luxury of watching the cold snowy scenery from a warm hot spring. Are there any hot spring inns where I can enjoy a snow-viewing open-air bath, "just like a Japanese hot spring!"?

Manza Prince Hotel

Manza-onsen, Tsumagoi-mura

  • You can truly enjoy "snow-viewing hot spring"

  • You can bathe in the hot spring water while your hair freezes from the steam. It feels more like you are bathing in a hot spring in the snow rather than enjoying the snow. The spring water is rich and warms your body. As it is a Prince Hotel affiliated hotel, the food is delicious and the rooms are a little old, but they are clean and nice.

  • A hot spring inn where you can enjoy the sounds of snow

  • This is a recommended inn for its snowy scenery that can be seen from the open-air bath. It's a short walk from the large public bath, but you walk through the snow and the atmosphere of the open-air bath at the end is wonderful. There is no ceiling, so when it snows, it falls into the bath and you can hear the "plop plop" sound of the snow melting. The sound of the snow adds to the feeling of being in the open-air bath in the snow.
