This inn is located in the center of Yufuin, so it's close to hot spring town and Yufuin Station, so you can easily go for a stroll. It's not that big, but it's a very homely inn run by landlady, and it has a warm atmosphere.

以前、湯布院在住の知人に勧められた、料理長が推薦のお宿ということでこちらに泊まりました。外観がペンションみたいで可愛らしく、お花が沢山咲いています。ダイニングには暖炉もあり、お庭が見渡せてくつろげます。お料理も器も素敵で、目にも楽しめます。恋人と行くには、ぴったりだと思います。

山水閣、飛泉閣、臨川閣それぞれの風呂に入り湯浴み出来る！

全部で三館有り、どの館に泊まっても全ての館の色々な風呂を利用出来る。山水閣１階には御影石の野天風呂、内湯、男女露天風呂が有る。後、室内温水プール、アスレチックジムにサウナも有る。臨川閣３階に高温浴槽、低温浴槽、檜風呂、サウナと有る。飛泉閣９階に２４時間入れる御影石の展望大浴場が有る。それと臨川閣４階に有料だが二つの貸切風呂と岩盤浴が有る。食事は色々なプランが有るが、山水閣か飛泉閣の和室、和洋折衷のプランが予算内に合いそうです。

芸術的な創作会席

おすすめは「由布院別邸 樹」です。由布院駅から徒歩20分くらいで周りは田園風景が広がっています。雰囲気が良くて、全室が離れ形式で部屋風呂も温泉です。夕食は創作の和会席で美しい器と大分県の食材を源泉した芸術的な料理でした。地元産のワインもありました。朝食は庭園を眺めながら焼きたてのパンや地元の新鮮な野菜をいただきました。ゆっくりとした貴重な時間を堪能できました。

鉄輪温泉にあるお宿です。竹の露天風呂など3つの源泉かけ流し温泉が無料で貸切できるプランがあるのでそちらがおすすめです。お部屋はほっと心落ち着く和室でインターネット接続なども問題なくできますよ。露天風呂は岩のお風呂で外国人の方はテンションが上がると思います！お料理は豊後牛を使った和食膳など、おいしい和食を頂くことがきますよ。ＪＲ別府駅からはバスでアクセスできるので宿まで一緒に行けるのであれば大丈夫だと思います！

湯布院の中心地から距離があり、広大な敷地に離れの客室が点在している旅館です。趣があり静かで、食事もいいです。小さなバーもあります。広い敷地内は日本庭園風に整備されているわけではなく、どちらかというと自然のままという感じです。湯布院の有名な旅館とは違っう雰囲気ところへ泊まってみたい方へおすすめです。

There was a TV in the private bath. There are Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms, but the Japanese-style rooms have the feel of a hot spring inn, so I recommend them. The food was also very satisfying, with a banquet menu featuring lots of local ingredients.

別府のホテルでしたら「白菊」がおすすめです。別府駅から徒歩５分ぐらいで、「別府地獄めぐり」などの移動にも便利な立地です。特に温泉が内湯・露天とも広々！脱衣所にはドクダミ茶があり水分補給に助かりました。別府はいろいろな旅館・ホテルに泊まりましたが、温泉・接客はここが一番だと思います。

御夫婦で別府温泉にお泊まりなら、「旅亭 松葉屋」がいいと思います。小高い丘の上に位置し、別府市内を一望できます。昭和元年創業でレトロとモダンが融合する和風旅館です。温泉は源泉かけながしです。なかでも6トンもある巨大な一枚岩をくり貫いた露天風呂は別府市の夜景を見ることができ格別です。お部屋もきれいで広く快適です。
