If you are in Gero Onsen, why not try "Chikusuitei"? Located about a 5-minute walk from Gero Station, this inn has a total of 18 rooms and is a very fine inn. There are three types of rooms: regular rooms, special rooms, and the Yugiri Room, all of which are Japanese-style. The Yugiri Room is the only Japanese and Western room can accommodate up to 6 people and has a cypress bathtub. All of the rooms are bright and spacious, so you can relax in comfort. The large bath, with its entire wall made of glass windows, offers the best view. During the day, you can see the lush mountains, and at night, you can enjoy the night view of the hot spring town. There is also a cypress family bath, which can be rented out exclusively, making it popular with couples and families. For meals, you can enjoy kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）made with seasonal ingredients, including the famous Hida beef. この旅館がリニューアルをしたばかりですので、部屋やお風呂などがとても綺麗です。外湯にも便利な場所にあります。なお、今の時期は蟹の会席がメインになりますが、四季をとおして色んなメニューが用意されます。また、お風呂は3つの貸し切り風呂（陶、石、木）がありますのでお二人でごゆっくりと入浴を楽しめます。お湯の質はまろやかでとても肌に良い泉質ですので、ご満足されると思います。部屋も落ち着いた和室が中心でまさに城崎温泉を代表する老舗旅館と言えます。
