高松駅に一番近いホテルです。素泊まりのルームチャージであれば一人当たりのお値段はリーズナブルです。もちろん駐車場もありますが、駅から電車でうどん巡りをするにも便利だと思います。お部屋は普通のシティホテルですが、清掃が行き届いていて清潔で快適です。

由布院駅から徒歩12くらいなので、散策がてらに向かうのも楽しいです。郷土料理が夕食にも朝食にも出てくるので、楽しい食事と素敵な温泉と合わせてゆっくり堪能できました。

黒川温泉で馬刺しを味わいたいならこの宿

黒川温泉で馬刺しに力を入れている宿といえば「和風旅館 美里」ではないでしょうか。お肉大好きという若旦那が腕を振るう料理は熊本名物の馬刺をたっぷりいただけます。熊本名物の肥後牛も出してくれるので熊本の味覚の食べ比べも面白いですよ。

This is a resort hotel with hot springs in Matsushima, Miyagi. It's not Ryokan (Japanese inn), but the food is substantial, there is an open-air bath, and I think you can relax there. It's located on the seafront where you can see the scenery of Matsushima, so it's very pleasant.

「パレス松洲」は部屋は広くてきれいですし、窓からは松島の絶景が広がります。宮城県市町村職員共済組合の保養所だからか、グレードの割には料金も良心的です。もちろん料理は和食がメインです。

築地場外市場や駅に近いコンパクトなホテル

ロケーションが良くて宿泊費が安いホテルです。築地場外市場まで徒歩約15分で行けます。地下鉄にも近いです。部屋はコンパクトですが寝泊りするだけなら気になりませんでした。個室シャワーで浴槽はなかったです。食事は近くの居酒屋など飲食店も多いので困りません。コンビニも複数ありました。

この旅館（民宿）では、地元で採れる川魚がふるまわれます。鮭、岩魚など新鮮な魚料理と地元料理が自慢です。実はこのお宿、養魚場を営んでいるため、年中、採ったばかりの新鮮な魚がいただける訳です。野沢温泉の中心街にも徒歩ですぐ、スキー客にも利用される小さな民宿宿です。和室と和洋室のみで決して豪華さこそありませんが、広くて家族連れにはもってこいです。家族的な温かいおもてなしが嬉しい宿です。

This inn is conveniently located near downtown Takamatsu. They provide free coffee and free udon for breakfast. The hotel is old but clean, and I was satisfied with the service at reception desk and the breakfast. I think this inn offers good value for money.

When I went on a udon restaurant tour as a student, I stayed at a business hotel called Takamatsu City Hotel, which is about a 4-minute drive from JR Takamatsu Station. There was a surprisingly cheap plan for a room only stay. The facilities are a little old, but it's convenient that it's close to the downtown area and has a parking lot.

築地、東銀座の両方に近いホテル

ビスタ東京ホテルは住所は銀座なのですが、築地駅と築地市場駅の間にあるので築地場外市場へもすぐです。日本の家具メーカーである「カリモク家具」の家具を採用しているのでホテルは超スタイリッシュ！シンプルですが機能的なお部屋になっています。朝食は築地で、ということですが、築地市場から仕入れた食材を使った朝食もなかなか良いですよ。厚焼き玉子サンドや朝食べる築地チャーシューラーメンなど日替わりで人気メニューが提供されます。朝食付きならひとり１万6000円くらい、朝食ナシなら1万4000円くらいで泊まれます。

How about Sakunami Onsen in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture? Iwamatsu Ryokan (Japanese inn) looks like a fine hotel, but there is also an old staircase leading down to the open-air bath. You can bathe in the open-air bath while looking at the mountain stream. You can enjoy the hot springs in the nature. Depending on the plan, you can have meals in your room. I chose Buffet, but the food was mainly Japanese and there was a corner with local cuisine. If you take the train, there is a round-trip shuttle from Sakunami Station.

How about spending some time at Hotel Kowakuen Haruka? It's very close, about a 1-minute walk to the Dogo Onsen Main Building and Dogo Haikara Street, which can be reached by elevator for guests only. This hotel also takes into consideration barrier-free access, with wheelchair-accessible private baths and universally-accessible rooms, making it an easy hotel for seniors to stay at. The large public bath is spacious and offers a panoramic view of Matsuyama city.

You can walk to a udon restaurant that is open at night.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from Kataharamachi Station on the Kotoden line, so you can have udon for breakfast or for a late-night snack. The roads are easy to find. If you are at Takamatsu Station, turn left as you face the sea, and if you are in the center where Mitsukoshi and the prefectural office are located, turn forward with your back to the sea. That's it. It's a convenient accommodation with a reasonable budget. Nearby famous udon restaurants include "Udonbo" near Kataharamachi Station (Kasugamachi Market, Tsurumaru, Goemon), "Udonbo" near Kawaramachi Station, "Sakaeda" next to the prefectural office, and "Tamoya" in the Takamatsu Port area.
