The hotel is within walking distance of the Kokugikan Sumo Hall. We recommend this hotel as a sacred place for sumo. The rooms are comfortable, and the beds are simple and comfortable. The amenities are plentiful and the rooms are spacious!

We recommend this hotel as it has an especially good reputation for its food. For dinner, the chef kaiseki（a traditional Japanese multiple course meal ）using seasonal ingredients from Shiga, and there is a plan where you can enjoy the famous Omi beef! Enjoying delicious local ingredients will make for a wonderful memory of your trip. Another nice feature is that "Yonaki Ramen" (also known as dandan noodles) is served in the evening as a free service exclusively for guests. It's a nice little surprise service for when you get a little hungry. Hikone Castle is also nearby, so you can enjoy delicious food and excellent service while admiring the view of Lake Biwa.
