All rooms at this hotel face the Pacific Ocean, so the views are amazing. Access is not great, but it's worth the effort. Ibaraki specialty dishes are also available, so you can enjoy the food while you're here.

This hotel is located on the coast of Kesennuma, Miyagi Prefecture. It is located on the Sanriku coast and has a spectacular view. It also offers a shuttle service from Sendai Station, making it easy to access. This is an accommodation facility that exudes local love, as it offers its own storytelling bus tours of the Great East Japan Earthquake (reservations must be made at the front reception desk by the day before). You can learn about the state of reconstruction, and by staying there you can feel like you have helped with the reconstruction. The meals, mainly local seafood, are also very delicious.

I would like to introduce a hot spring inn in Kitagawa Onsen, Shizuoka Prefecture. There are rooms with observation baths overlooking Sagami Bay. Recommended for those who want to relax in natural hot springs. If you're lucky, you can see the "Moon Road" at night. This is a phenomenon in which the light of the moon reflects and creates a path of light. I thought it would be very romantic to propose at that time. Meals vary depending on the plan, but you can eat dishes made with ingredients from Izu in a private room.

It's almost mystical, so I think it would be a good place to propose. The rooms with open-air baths are special, so you can spend time together while looking at the beautiful sea below. The sound of the ocean waves is also soothing. The food is both seafood and mountain produce that is unique to Shizuoka. In particular, the seafood sashimi, simmered golden-eyed snapper, and spiny lobster are the best. The horse mackerel filleted for breakfast is different from the ones in Tokyo, and is fatty and delicious, making it a great choice for rice. The spiny lobster miso soup is also a great supporting role that you can't miss. The hotel offers exquisite food, a Breathtaking view hot spring, and a special space, but it is worth more than its price.
