The sense of freedom in the large open-air bath is exceptional
Although it is a little independent guest cottages from Kotohira Shrine, about 15 minutes by car, it is one of the largest onsen(hot spring) resort hotels in the area. There are shuttle buses from Okada Station and Kotohira Station, so it is easy to visit Kotohira Shrine. As a hotel chain that is particular about the onsen(hot spring) experience, the feeling of freedom in the large open-air bath surrounded by nature is exceptional.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Fun for both children and adults
How about Oedo Onsen Monogatari in Kagawa? Breakfast and dinner are Buffet, so everyone can eat what they like. Table tennis and karaoke are available for free. The hotel baths are Oedo Onsen Monogatari, and depending on the night you stay you can also use the indoor pool, which has many jacuzzis around it, so even adults can spend a long time there. (I think it was open during the New Year holidays.) It's located on the Reoma World premises, and the Toy Kingdom is great for little ones to enjoy!

This is a hotel where you can enjoy both the food and the open-air baths.
This beautiful official hotel of New Reoma Forest is located about a 15-minute drive from JR Kotohira Station. It also has convenient access to Shikoku Aquarium. You can relax in a variety of open-air baths, including natural hot springs, natural herbal baths, and highly concentrated carbonated springs, surrounded by forest. Meals are served Buffet style in the spacious dining room, where freshly prepared meals are provided in the live kitchen. The roast beef, steaks, sashimi, sweets, and more are all delicious.

I highly recommend this hotel as it's not boring!
Hotel Reoma no Mori is conveniently located a 15-minute drive from Kotohira Station, a 30-minute drive from Takamatsu Airport, and a 30-minute drive from Shikoku Aquarium. The hotel has an open-air bath surrounded by forest, a spacious large bath, and a sauna, where you can enjoy the simple, weak radon hot springs. You can also get a massage after bathing. Dinner is Buffet with an open kitchen, where you can eat steak, tempura, sushi, curry, and Sanuki udon. There is also a wide selection of sweets.
