  • Such Breathtaking view! The panorama from the open-air bath

If you want to enjoy an open-air bath with Breathtaking view view at Shirahone Onsen, Awanoyu is definitely recommended. The vividness of the milky white water, which changes color depending on the season and weather, combined with the colors of the greenery and flowers that can be seen from the open-air bath with no obstructions in any direction, allows you to enjoy a wonderful view of the open-air bath. It is Mixed-Gender Hot Springs gender bath, but it is quite spacious and the water is cloudy, so it doesn't bother you that much. Bath towels for bathing are also provided. In the winter, you can enjoy bath to view the snow.

  • Luxury accommodation in Shirahone Onsen

I recommend "Awanoya" in Shirahone Onsen, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. The biggest attraction of this Ryokan (Japanese inn) is the open-air bath adjacent to the building. It is designed to blend in with nature. It is surrounded by greenery, so you can see the autumn leaves in the fall and snow in the winter.

  • You can also enjoy bath to view the snow at Shirahone Onsen

I would like to recommend Shirahone Onsen. It takes about two hours from Matsumoto by train and bus to get there, but I recommend Awanoyu Ryokan (Japanese inn). You can enjoy bath to view the snow in the milky white open-air bath. It is Mixed-Gender Hot Springs, but women are provided with bathing clothes. It is also fun for married couple to enjoy a conversation while soaking. The hot spring is characterized by its lukewarm water and bubbles. The lukewarm carbonated sulfur spring is good for relieving fatigue. The experience of your body being enveloped in the fine bubbles in the water is unique to this place. It takes a little over an hour to visit the shrine for the first time of the year, but Hotaka Shrine is relatively close to the inn and is a famous shrine.

  • Enjoy Shirahone Onsen in a large open-air bath

I recommend Shirahone Onsen in Nagano Prefecture. Mixed-Gender Hot Springs open-air bath is cloudy and you can't see into the water, so it's great for the whole family. The scent of the hot spring wafts into the room, so it's not recommended for those who don't like the smell of sulfur, but the dinner is delicious and can be enjoyed by Japanese hearth, so it's perfect for the retro atmosphere.
