My hobby is taking photos of unusual rivers, and I'm going to Hakata soon. Are there any hotels around Hakata Station that have a large public bath? I'd like to enjoy the afterglow of my photos in the large public bath.

  • It is a natural hot spring.

  • It is conveniently located just a one-minute walk from Gion Station. It can also be accessed in about 10 minutes on foot from Hakata Station. The large public bath here is a natural hot spring, and you can enjoy a view of the greenery from the large windows. There is also an open-air bath! Another nice point is that they offer free midnight Yonakisoba (noodles sold by a hawker at night) (ramen).

  • If you are looking for a hotel with a large public bath in Fukuoka, I recommend Dormy Inn Hakata Gion. It is located near Gion Station, one subway stop from Hakata, and about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. The rooms are typical of a business hotel, but it is nice to have a hot spring. The service was also very friendly.
