  • Fresh and delicious Japanese food and an open-air bath overlooking the Sea of Japan

  • This newly renovated hotel in Ajigasawa Onsen is beautiful and boasts a great view. For dinner, you can enjoy a Japanese banquet with live abalone teppanyaki, and since it's all-inclusive, you can also enjoy all-you-can-drink, making it a great deal. You can relax in the spacious large communal bath and open-air bath. This is a highly recommended hotel where you can enjoy Japanese cuisine centered around seafood and an open-air bath.

  • A scenic hotel surrounded by the beautiful Sea of Japan, Mt. Iwaki and the Shirakami Mountains.

  • How about "Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou"? It is a scenic hotel surrounded by the beautiful Sea of Japan, Mt. Iwaki, and Shirakami Mountains. You can enjoy the hot springs in the large, open-air bath, the refreshing open-air bath overlooking the Sea of Japan, and the private bath. For dinner, we had a delicious Japanese meal made with luxurious ingredients such as live abalone, the rare fish of Ajigasawa, the huchen, and domestic black-haired wagyu beef.

  • A hotel with a magnificent view all to yourself

  • Sankaisou is a hotel located on a magnificent site. The hotel has a rare spring quality, where seawater has turned into a natural hot spring, and there is a large public bath and an open-air bath that feels very spacious, which was very pleasant. The meals are buffet style, but you can choose from delicacies such as wagyu steak and abalone teppanyaki, and the portions are very filling. It was a very satisfying hotel.

  • Enjoy hot springs and gourmet food in a fantastic location surrounded by the Sea of Japan and Mt. Iwaki.

  • We recommend Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou, located in an excellent location surrounded by the Sea of Japan and Mt. Iwaki in Nishitsugaru County. You can view the majestic Sea of Japan from the open-air bath and relax while enjoying the 300,000-year-old fossil seawater hot spring. The food is seasonal seafood dishes. The interior is a beautiful Japanese-Western style Ryokan (Japanese inn) filled with the charm of Taisho era romance.

  • Enjoy the mountain and sea views

  • This hotel is located along the Gono Line, and offers a view of the mountains and the sea. There was a guidebook for the Shirakami-Sanchi trekking course nearby. The hotel was very spacious, with a Japanese-Western style interior, and had a classical and retro atmosphere. The hot spring was also spacious, and I enjoyed the view of the sea from the indoor bath.

  • Rooms and baths with ocean views

  • How about Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou? The nearest station is Ajigasawa Station on the JR Gono Line, and there is a free shuttle from there, so it's very convenient. The room was an elegant Japanese-style room, and we could see the ocean from the room. The large communal bath and open-air bath were both Japanese and Western-style, and it was great to be able to see the ocean from the bath. The food was also a buffet, mainly using local Aomori ingredients, and we could enjoy freshly cooked food in the open kitchen.

  • View of the Sea of Japan from Aomori

  • I stayed here when I went on a trip to Aomori before. It was a memorable stay where I could see the rough sea of the Sea of Japan. The hotel I stayed at on that occasion was "Ajigasawa Onsen Hotel Grand Mer Sankaisou" in Nishitsugaru. The Sea of Japan in winter and Tohoku in winter are recommended.

  • A hotel Breathtaking view spectacular view of the sunset and the Sea of Japan.

  • This hotel is located in a magnificent location surrounded by the beautiful Sea of Japan, Mount Iwaki, the Tsugaru Fuji, and the Shirakami Mountains, a World Heritage Site. I was told that I could see the sunset from my room around 5:30, and I was able to see a truly beautiful sunset. The food was very satisfying, with a menu that included local cuisine. I also enjoyed the free shamisen live performance, hearing the Tsugaru dialect.

  • Relax in a Japanese-style room and enjoy the view of the Sea of Japan

  • This hotel is adjacent to the Sea of Japan and Mt. Iwaki. I stayed in a Japanese-style room with a view of the Sea of Japan, and there was a wide veranda where I could relax and enjoy the view. The Japanese-style room was spacious and relaxing. It was also great to be able to enjoy the view of the sea while drinking coffee in the lounge. The bath is a rare hot spring that is made from ancient seawater known as "fossil seawater" that has become natural hot spring water, and the open-air bath and large bath with a view of the sea right in front of you were very relaxing. Breakfast and dinner were served buffet style with dishes made with local ingredients.

  • Take a leisurely dip in the fossil seawater hot springs while gazing out at the ocean

  • The magnificent view overlooking the Sea of Japan and the location surrounded by the Shirakami Mountains allowed me to refresh both body and mind. I was able to relax and enjoy the ocean view while soaking in the fossil seawater hot spring in the spacious bath. With the all-inclusive plan, I was able to enjoy freshly cooked meals made with locally produced ingredients, and the local sake "Andong Suigun" was also delicious. I also enjoyed a live shamisen performance after the meal.
