• A relaxing inn in Yufuin

• I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, in independent guest cottages building, with an 8-tatami Japanese-style room and an 8-tatami bedroom. It was quiet and I was able to spend a relaxing time for the first time in a while. Meals were not served in the room, but in the dining building at the back of the main house, and each box seat had a view of Mt. Yufu, so privacy was maintained and it was very nice.

• First of all, the staff are very kind. You can see Mt. Yufu from the room. You can also see Mt. Yufu from the open-air bath, so a morning bath is especially recommended. Although it is not a private room, you can enjoy your meals at your leisure.

  Answered question: married couple and I are going to Yufuin for our wedding anniversary. Can you recommend a nice hot spring Ryokan (Japanese inn)?
