The hotel's pride and joy, the open-air bath with a spectacular view, is located a little independent guest cottages from the hotel and you have to walk there. It is located a little higher, so it has an excellent sense of openness and view. The spring quality is so good that I walked there several times to take a bath. I was also pleased with the food and service at dinner, which was more than worth the price.

• I recommend Zao Plaza Hotel. It is located halfway up the mountain and the view from the restaurant is amazing. The mountains are looming to the left and the lower world spreads out to the right. The food is prepared using local ingredients and is very satisfying. There is an open-air bath made of cypress. However, if the water gets into your eyes, it will hurt for a while, so be careful.
