  • Ibusuki Royal Hotel
  • Please tell me Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Ibusuki that has a sand bath and delicious food. My budget is about 15,000 yen per person.

I want to go to Ibusuki in Kagoshima with my family to take a bath in a hot spring. We are planning to go there for two nights and three days during our stay in Japan. I would also like to try a sand bath, so please let me know if there is a sand bath in the hotel or a hotel near a sand bath facility. A hotel where I can have delicious meals such as Japanese food is good.

Ibusuki Royal Hotel

  • Enjoy delicious shochu and Satsuma Kuroge Wagyu beef steak

  • Ibusuki Royal Hotel does not have a sand bath on site, but they provide a free shuttle bus to a place where sand baths are available, so it wasn't a problem. The large public bath and open-air bath in the hotel had good quality water and a nice view. We also enjoyed the delicious shochu and Satsuma Kuroge Wagyu steak, as well as other dishes made with local ingredients.

  • The scenery, hot springs, and cuisine are all very satisfying

  • This hotel does not have a sand bath on-site, but they provide a free shuttle bus to nearby facilities. The meal includes a course meal with Kagoshima black beef and black pork as the main course. It was very filling and delicious. The breakfast was a Japanese set meal using local ingredients, and the portions were generous and satisfying. The view, hot springs, and food were all great.

  • There is a minibus shuttle to the sand bath hot springs.

  • A beautiful view of the ocean. The hot spring is rich in collagen, known as Bijin-no-yu (a hot spring of beauty) and has excellent moisturizing effects. There is also an open-air bath along the coast. A shuttle bus is provided to take you to and from the famous sand bath, which is very convenient. Dinner was a Japanese meal filled with seasonal seafood and mountain produce. Breakfast was a Japanese and Western Buffet, where you could enjoy dishes made with seasonal ingredients from Ibusuki.
