Please tell me about some hot spring inns in Matsuyama city or around Dogo Onsen in Ehime Prefecture that are recommended for seniors.
I'm planning to take my 84-year-old mother to Matsuyama in Ehime Prefecture in the fall. Can you recommend a hotel with delicious food in Matsuyama city or around Dogo Onsen? I'd like a hotel with comfortable rooms for the elderly.
15Hotel rankings chosen by people
- Funaya is Ryokan (Japanese inn) that is used by members of the imperial family, so I think it is the most luxurious Ryokan (Japanese inn) in Dogo Onsen. It is a large Ryokan (Japanese inn) with a wide range of facilities, and there is a large Japanese garden where you can relax comfortably inside Ryokan (Japanese inn).miyosiko's answer (Posted on:2016/11/10)

A luxurious place to spend time
- I stayed at Dogokan in Dogo Onsen just once for my wife's birthday, and everything about it was high quality and we had a comfortable stay. In particular, the dinner was beyond my expectations, and I was surprised at how delicious the Iyo beef was, which I had never eaten before. On the other hand, the quality of the hot spring water was also good, and I ended up taking a long bath.poo's answer (Posted on:2014/10/14)

A hotel located near Okaido in the center of Matsuyama and close to Dogo Onsen
- The location is right in front of Okaido in the center of Matsuyama. From here, you can get to both Matsuyama Station and Dogo Onsen with a single city tram. Dogo Onsen is about 10 minutes away, so you can easily go to soto-yu (public bathhouses). If you want to eat out, there are many restaurants in Okaido Shopping Street.金太待つ神田's answer (Posted on:2014/10/10)

Conveniently located near the downtown area and comes with a hot spring bath
- There is a hot spring in the hotel. It is also located in the center of Matsuyama city, so it is conveniently located near both the airport and the station. The food at the hotel was also good, with a wide variety of side dishes, including some unique to Matsuyama, so I was satisfied. As for dinner, the downtown area is nearby, so I think they can accommodate any preference. Judging from the breakfast, I think you will be satisfied even at the hotel.なし's answer (Posted on:2014/10/10)

A recommended accommodation for exploring Matsuyama
- I recommend the ANA Matsuyama Hotel. Located in the center of the city, it's a great hotel that can easily be chosen as a base for exploring Matsuyama. You can get a beautiful view of Matsuyama Castle from the hotel. The hotel itself is old, but there are no problems with the facilities and it has a nice, calming atmosphere. The hospitality is also great, and you can enjoy delicious Ehime flavors at the breakfast buffet, so you'll feel like you got a bargain. I recommend it.エイム's answer (Posted on:2016/8/18)

All in all there is nothing to say.
- The bath, food, rooms, and service were all excellent. The bath was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and there was so much I couldn't finish it. The room was also clean. It's also close to the Botchan bath. There is an indoor bath, but if you come to Dogo, you have to take a bath in the Botchan bath (Dogo Onsen Main Building). It's just a short walk away.まちちゃん0621's answer (Posted on:2016/5/31)

You can go to hot spring without any baggage.
- If you come all the way to Matsuyama, be sure to stay at Dogo Onsen. The recommended inn is Yamatoya Honten. It is right next to the Dogo Onsen Main Building. You can head to the hot springs without carrying any luggage. The food is fresh seafood from the Seto Inland Sea.るき's answer (Posted on:2016/11/10)

The freshly picked local vegetable salad for breakfast was excellent.
- The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh local vegetables and fruits. It was interesting to have a faucet serving Pon Juice at the front desk. Also, the rental of Imabari towels for hot spring was very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and I was able to spend a comfortable night in Dogo.ぴぴ's answer (Posted on:2015/11/18)

Universally supported
- How about spending some time at Hotel Kowakuen Haruka? It's very close, about a 1-minute walk to the Dogo Onsen Main Building and Dogo Haikara Street, which can be reached by elevator for guests only. This hotel also takes into consideration barrier-free access, with wheelchair-accessible private baths and universal-access rooms, making it an easy hotel for seniors to stay at. The large public bath is spacious and offers a panoramic view of Matsuyama city.こま's answer (Posted on:2024/6/20)
